Friend Assembly is an incredible space for learning & creativity. It truly feels like a safe space. Love the instructors as well- they are very patient and receptive to different styles of learning as well neurodivergent-friendly. Can’t recommend enough!

If you have ever wanted to try learning the pottery wheel this is the studio for you, everyone is so welcoming and cares about you learning the craft fully! Classes with Quinn and Shauna have been the highlight of my week, they are so patient and give you the skills to make incredible pieces on the wheel! Give a wheel a try at this amazing studio, you won’t regret it!

We had the most fun at Friend Assembly! We went to a one time workshop for my birthday and had a blast. The instructors were so great and there to step in if you needed any help. Would recommend!

Such a cute workshop. It was overall a really nice and fun mug making experience! The lady that gave us the demo was very gracious even though we went over our allotted time frame. My reason for the 4 stars: We finally got our mugs but I was a little disappointed. Mine has cracks along the handle, which I think they did say could happen. I wasn’t, however, really given any instruction on what to do next or how to fix it, they were just given to us without explanation. I think that was my main problem, but I would definitely come back for another pottery session.

I love this place. Friend Assembly is great for both kids and adult classes, my family has taken both. I’m so impressed with the quality of instruction (and this is nowhere near my first ceramics class) and focus on techniques and exploration. Sarah is fantastic with kids too, mine always want to go see her, and my husband and I can sneak in a lunch date while they are taking a class. These are pics of their super hero sculptures before firing (kids age 4 and 7 made these). Plus, there’s a shop full of awesome ceramic stuff, prints and gifts. Check it out!
