The team at GP mixes things up to bring variety and progression, so every session feels fresh. I especially love the camaraderie of the morning crew (and for those that are regulars you know who I am talking about!) These familiar faces are incredibly welcoming to new members. I’ve been practicing yoga for a few years now and finding the perfect yoga studio is always key. I am so happy that I found Full Lotus and truly love both their Detroit and Grossepoint locations. Every teacher I have had is wonderful and the classes are everything I could ask for. 2 of my favorite classes are taught by Rebecca and Tristin. Everyone at the studio is friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The owner Liz also teaches traditional/ashtanga yoga which I really appreciate. Beyond happy I found this place.
I love Full Lotus Yoga! The instructors are truly outstanding. Each class is taught with clarity, patience, and genuine passion for the practice. I especially appreciated how they offered modifications for different skill levels, making class accessible whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced yogi. The class variety is another big plus. From gentle restorative flows to more challenging Vinyasa and strength-focused sessions, there’s something for every mood and energy level. Full Lotus Yoga has a strong the sense of community. Staff and students alike were friendly and inclusive, creating a space where it feels easy to show up exactly as you are. Overall, this studio is a gem — professional, peaceful, and truly supportive of both body and mind. Highly recommended for anyone looking to deepen their yoga practice or simply find a serene escape from daily stress!
Thank you for making me feel at home in your studio the last couple months! Love the variety of classes and full schedule to meet different needs. Only wish there were more Vin 3 classes 🔥🔥 if you want to improve your practice, go to Andrea, Rebecca & Liz’s classes!!!! Don’t miss Andrea’s handstand workshops, even if you’re worried about not being close to getting one. Great opportunity to explore inversions and arm balances in an inclusive, fun and encouraging setting.
From the first time I step foot in Full Lotus Yoga in 2022, I felt at home. I had preconceived notions of what yoga was- twisted into a contorted pretzel- and sense of intimidation having never practice before. I was wrong on all counts. The Sunday evening instructor, Nicole, was warm and welcoming. After my first class I was hooked. Years later, I have practice with all of the instructors at the various levels of “difficulties” that the studio offers. Each instructor is highly skilled in mindful teaching for all levels of development. The community of clients (yogis) are very supportive of new comers and a positive energy is always prevalent. Yoga has changed my life- not only my physical body, but my mental and emotional landscape equally. If you can be openminded and dismiss what you think yoga is and try a class (first one is free), you might just change your life.
