Russell is amazing! His advice and the way he connected with our dog were both incredible. Looking forward to having him help with our new puppy in a few months! Russ makes all the difference and truly makes having a pet something wonderful.

I recently enrolled my 8‑month‑old rescue puppy with Fun Paw Care and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. Russell and the team provided constant updates — photos, short video clips, and clear email summaries of what they were working on and how we could support the training at home. From day one, it was obvious they weren’t just going through the motions. Russell’s approach is clearly rooted in both science and compassion, with a deep understanding of canine behavior. My pup was showing signs of anxiety and lack of confidence, and within a week we already began seeing changes: calmer behavior, better recall, and our walks are far less stressful. Even more importantly, I feel empowered — they gave us educational materials and actionable pointers so I know what to keep building on after the training is over. The facility is spotless, the atmosphere is friendly yet focused, and you can tell the team genuinely loves what they do. If you’re looking for a trainer who will work with your dog (and you) and not just at them, I highly recommend Fun Paw Care. Five stars all the way.

I got connected to Fun Paw Care through a friend and reached out to Russ about free psychiatric service dog training. I really appreciated the blog post on PSA and other helpful info that he shares! I also appreciated his quick response when I reached out and am looking forward to working with him!

All I can say is WOW!! If you want to work with someone who is compassionate to animals and knowledgeable in dog behaviors russ is your guy. My dog was suffering from separation anxiety and he helped us with many training protocols to practice at home. It is also so nice to get constant updates about progress and photos. Thank you for helping me and my boy have a happier and fuller life!

I sent my 9-month old puppy to a 7-day puppy bootcamp with Fun Paw Care. She had a blast and Russell was really good with providing video, email, and photo updates on what they were working on and capturing some behavior I should be aware of. I did not know my dog had anxiety and now haver her on supplements to help her with that and calm her down a bit. He provides a lot of educational material to study and apply to continue training which I am still going through almost a week after. Overall, a really good experience, Russell knows more about dog training than anyone I have ever met. He helped me unlearn some outdated information which is refreshing when there are so many "dog trainers" out there and so much inconsistent information. I would definitely recommend.
