We had an extremely troubling experience with this facility. We dropped our dog off for daycare for one day only. When we returned to pick him up, the employee at the front refused to release our dog to us, stating that he had already been “put up for the night.” We did not request, authorize, or consent to overnight boarding. The employee then contacted the owner, who also insisted that we were not allowed to take our own dog home and that we would have to return the following morning. This was despite the fact that there was no emergency, no safety issue, and no apparent reason they could not simply bring our dog out to us at that moment. Being told that you cannot retrieve your own pet is alarming and unacceptable. Pet owners should be able to trust that they maintain control over their animals at all times. Based on this experience, we would strongly caution others before leaving their pets here.
