I recently had to replace my microwave and requested a trim kit that would both frame the new unit properly and blend in with the existing custom cabinetry. Someone was sent out to take measurements, and after a few weeks, the trim kit was ready. A different technician came out to install it, and the entire process took no more than 15 minutes. He attached two pieces of plywood to the frame using six pin nails, which he claimed would be sufficient to hold the microwave in place. I expressed concern at the time, pointing out that I believed screws should be used inside the frame for stability. The technician assured me that the nails would be adequate. The next day, my nanny used the microwave, unaware that the frame was only secured with pin nails. As a result, the right side of the frame dislodged. When I contacted the owner about the issue, he accused me of intentionally damaging the installation and has since refused to respond or send anyone to fix the problem. I paid $415 for what amounted to two pieces of poorly secured wood and a frustrating experience marked by poor workmanship and unprofessional behavior. As someone who has owned and remodeled five homes, I can confidently say this is the worst contractor experience I’ve had. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company and instead work with professionals who offer better customer service and competent craftsmanship.

I couldn't be happier with the results! My furniture looks brand new, and the entire process was incredibly efficient. The professionalism and craftsmanship displayed were truly impressive. They managed to refinish my furniture in just a couple of hours, and the quality of the work is outstanding. Highly recommend!

Movers caused extensive damage to our valuable wood furniture. David restored all of it to like-new condition. We are grateful and very impressed with his excellent work and professionalism. Thank you, David! We highly recommend Furniture Medic for any furniture repair.

I’m so glad I got the pleasure of having furniture medic come and repair my cabinets due to a leak under my sink area. Truly professional company and got it done surprisingly very quickly than I expected! I should have had gone to this company to begin with but because Parker and sons referred me out to dryforce and it’s sister company Brenner construction I felt like I had no choice but to stick with them. Well they were so slow in getting the cabinets removed just so the plumber could even get to the area to fix the leak. I want to say it was probably leaking for 10 days. Then it was time for brenner construction to come in and see if they could even do my cabinets. I had 3 appointments over 3 weeks to discuss if they could even do it and they said they were booked out for 4-6 weeks out!! (December) I thought all cabinet companies were booked out this far so I didn’t bother looking for anyone else . I had one appointment where the supervisor came out knocked on the door and left. No call, no follow up, nothing!! I called and said I was waiting by my phone for them so I could give him the code in the house. (We vacated because we had no running water) . He then made a false claim that he called me and I said that’s funny because I didn’t miss one phone call during my appt time at all. I was waiting right by my phone. The unprofessionalism from this company was surprising indeed. Then he says “if” we fix it for you it won’t be until January because they got 4 new claims that came in. I stated that I shouldn’t be put at the end of the project completion date because I was ahead of all the other claims. Then he says “at least you have a working kitchen now that the leak is fixed”. I had already been waiting over a month already to have this company fix my cabinets and this is the treatment I get. He did say that if they can’t do it then he would refer me out to furniture medic. Well it’s been such a relief since I contacted Furniture medic after that meeting because everything was smooth sailing after that!! Dave came out to the house the next day and was so thorough in explaining the whole process along the way. Sending pictures and updates and including me in the conversation. Making all the appts to the servicemen to come out for plumbing, electrical, and appliance placement. Most importantly, the quality of work is stellar amd cabinets and drawers look absolutely beautiful! My cabinets were custom and incredibly difficult to install but they are top notch in their craft and got it done in 2 weeks. It was especially difficult for them because they weren’t the ones that took it apart so it was a jigsaw puzzle trying to put it back altogether ! I couldn’t ask for a more experienced, professional, and wonderful company to complete the job. Dave was terrific the whole step of the way from Start to finish and treating his staff with utmost respect and care. I can’t say enough wonderful things about furniture medic and Dave!!
