I recently returned from a three week vacation in Italy, one week of which was dedicated to completing an 80 km walk from Florence to Siena. I have previously done walks in Spain and Portugal, but this one was considerably more challenging. Of the six participants, all women in the 67-71 years age bracket, I was one of two who completed the entire hike. I was definitely tired at the end of each day, but my body didn’t let me down, and I recovered quickly. I was also able to manage my own suitcase (and I have not yet learned the art of packing lightly) up and down stairs and over cobblestones with relative ease. I want to extend a huge ‘thank you’ to Mike. He develops daily 15-20 minute exercise routines that I do at home to maintain basic strength, flexibility, and balance, and I am 100% positive that these routines are the reason I was able to successfully cope with the physical challenges of the hike and the holiday. It was both encouraging and motivating to experience the benefits of Mike’s programming so obviously and concretely. Thank you, Mike!

I can't recommend Gains Performance Studio enough for anyone seeking private training and athletic therapy. When I first started training with Mike I had not worked out consistently in a really long time. In a few months I really noticed a difference in my strength and overall wellbeing. The environment of the facility creates a perfect balance between welcoming and motivating. Mike is excellent at creating programs that are tailored to your individual needs. Each session is challenging but always within a range where I feel progress but never to the point of being overly sore for the next session. I always feel great after a workout and it makes it easy for me to keep coming back! Mike is also an excellent athletic therapist and when I had an accident at home and broke my ankle, Mike helped me recover sooner than I thought was possible and helped me maintain my fitness levels as I recovered from the injury. All in all, training with Mike has really had a positive impact on my life and well-being. I highly recommend Gains Performance Studio for fitness training and athletic therapy!
I highly recommend the team at Gains Performance Studio for personal training. The team is knowledgeable, the equipment and facility are great and the atmosphere when you enter the facility is always motivating. I train with Mike, and his background as an Athletic Therapist and Personal Trainer make all the sessions impactful.
