I am new to The Gang workouts, but I have absolutely loved every aspect of the experience so far. The environment is so positive, supportive, and hype, it makes me never want to workout alone again! I love having trainers, accountability partners, and other group members there to cheer you on, coach you on your from, and encourage you to do your best and push yourself. The people I’ve gotten to know so far have been welcoming and kind and now that I know what being part of this experience is like I’m not sure I want to imagine life without it!
Amazing place! Started this program a year ago and since then my confidence has soared. This is not your typical fuel program where you’re running on a treadmill. They teach you back squats, pull ups, deadlifts and all the bad ass stuff you didn’t think you were able to do! Lots of different times and locations to work with anyone’s schedule. The Gang is so much more than a "gym". It is an incredibly positive environment, both in and outside the physical gym. I recommend The Gang to any woman that wants to start working out (for the first time ever), all the way to any woman that has been training for years and wants to up her game. It's inspiring to see so many levels of fitness, training side by side, with each person able to get everything they need out of the same workout. It's pretty inspiring. You will not regret joining this community. The trainers get to know each one of their clients, and know when (and how) to push each client to exceed their potential. The owner, Johanna, is a positive, inspiring, motivating, and personable human being, and has built a phenomenal team! She cuts through all the BS, and shares so much information! Johanna and her trainers build challenging workout programs; share in-depth information around nutrition; incorporates healthy habits and positive mantras before every workout (to get you inspired before you train); incorporates self love in everything shared. Johanna and her team want every single client to know she is worthy of all the good things; and finally, The Gang trainers match each and every client with an accountability partner on day one of training. This isn't just blindly matching people together, the trainers chat with every client before the program starts, and match people together that will be a positive influence on each other (I don't know what their formula/process is, but it works!). Your accountability partner is "your person" for the entire program; you workout side by side, you push each other to excel; you cheer each other on when the workout gets tough; you check in with each other outside the gym; and best of all, when you both collapse at the end of a tough workout, you have someone, right there beside you, to high five and proudly say "We crushed that!".
I've been with The Gang for about a year now and over the course of that time, the coaches have helped change my life. I've never been a big fan of exercising or "eating right”. They have completely changed my views. I've worked with several other trainers and programs over the years and ended up leaving them mainly for one reason, I got bored. It's the same thing session after session with no results. I have yet to be bored in a single workout with The Gang. Each one is unique, interesting, tough, and fun. They consistently push you to your limits and then make you realize you have more to give. I continue to be amazed at what I've been able to accomplish and am encouraged to keep going knowing that I can achieve my goals - something that they reinforce every class. Their guidance has helped me change my eating habits and lifestyle in general. They have taught me a different way to think about working out and food and which decisions are better than others. I eat for fuel now and and I now thoroughly enjoy being active and healthy. It's not possible to say enough good things about The Gang - their professionalism, knowledge, and encouragement shows in every way possible.
I joined The Gang back in 2018 in their second round of the program!! I’m so thankful that I did. It’s built around the idea that is so unique and needed. To move your body for strength over appearance, surrounded by a community of supportive women. I’ve done the online gang and now I’m doing the in-person bootcamp, 5 years later! Pushing hard at workouts and showing up consistently to see what my body can do has been so incredible for not only my physical well being but my mental & emotional health as well. Thank you Jo for creating something so meaningful! Before the program I felt lost as so many people do and was struggling with diet culture, before and after comp photos, restrictive eating and feeling lost at the gym and not supported. With TFGG I learned the fundamentals of eating food to fuel, not restricting, no body comp pictures but videos for form and moving my body out of celebration for all it can do. 1000000 out of 10 recommend. I also met Olivia in the gang 5 years ago and we besties 🥹🥰
