BEWARE!! My father-in-law dealt with this company for many years and ended up losing money on his retirement account. Upon his death and trying to transfer funds, their staff was not helpful. In fact, Mercades made a mistake that almost cost us $15,000, provided inaccurate information that caused delays that took over a month for everything to be corrected, and even a decrease in the value we received. We wanted our money rolled over to a reputable bank. A class action law suit was filed and Sherwood refused any assistance to information regarding the company's bankruptcy documentation required to file or even verify if executor met filing deadline for additional fund distributions. Nor would he provide any information regarding payouts from their bankruptcy class action settlement. I would never invest my money with this company.
