My husband and I have been savers since we both started working out of college. We were a set it and forget it type of family and after a lot of life, realized we had a jumbled pile of savings and accounts here and there that weren’t working for us nearly as much as they could be. Several years ago we interviewed a few financial planners in the area and we decided to go with Keith Wilson. We are glad we did!!!! He has done an amazing job organizing our accounts and tweaking them to maximize our returns. He is proactive with suggesting changes and additions we need to make as we near retirement or come up on other big life changes. I feel very confident that we will be able to retire earlier with his help than had we just left everything on our own autopilot. In addition, we enjoy our in person meetings, his weekly emails and watching his podcasts. Personal attention and the ability to walk you through difficult financial subjects are his superpowers! My family has been using Wilson Financial Advisors for many years. (You could say that I inherited them through my parents who used them for decades and had nothing but good things to say.) Keith is very knowledgeable and personable and always takes the time to answer questions and explain investing options and how taxes and personal finance work. My situation is such that I live rather far from the office (they are based in NC and I am in metro NY) but geography has never been an issue. Keith is well informed in the differing tax laws different states have and has advised me well. Whether it's a phone call, a Zoom call, an email or mail correspondence, setting up time to speak with him or getting an answer to a question has never been a problem. Nadine, the receptionist, has a lovely demeanor and a phone call to the office is like a warm hug from a long lost aunt. As I am nearing retirement we recently developed a plan to get my financial ducks in a row in order to make that happen in the time frame I am wanting; that has been a huge weight off of my mind. I cannot recommend Keith and his team enough, especially if you feel like you don't quite understand the world of finance to be confident in your choices. The empire I am slowly building for myself to leave to my dependent is doing really great because of their guidance and expertise. If you're looking for someone to help build your empire you definitely should give them a call.
