Georgia Blue Gallery handles Alaska’s secondary market. Work that has been in previous collections put on the market again. A great way to find hard to get pieces. They also premiere new works as well. The space is shared by an artesian cheese shop that serves lunch. It’s a great artist date sharing linch and taking in the collection.

Great mix of works by local artists, both past and present. Many native crafts for sale, too. Excellent quality.

Limited selection of quality art, and unfortunately, an unwelcoming experience with the staff. The saleswoman's approach felt dismissive; instead of greeting us or showing interest in our visit, she immediately asked if we wanted to put our items on layaway. This interaction left us feeling unfairly judged despite being dressed and behaving like typical, courteous customers.

This gallery has a high quality selection of both contemporary and vintage Alaskan art and contemporary and vintage Alaskan Native art. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and professional. There is an excellent selection of jewelry, ceramics and textiles from Alaskan artisans as well. It is well worth the short trip from the downtown area if you are a visitor, especially combined with a meal at either of the next door restaurants, Fromagio’s (imported cheeses) or Jen’s (Alaskan oysters and seafood, fine wine).
