I can't give Zero stars, apparently not for common people I was followed by a wee Irish man then told it's not for browsing. Wonderful show room but they are complete disgrace. Hope you go bankrupt soon.

Went there once and won't be back. I asked if they had a repair service and was told to send photos of my broken mirror for a quote. After 3 weeks of back and forth, I was informed that the gilder would need to see the mirror in person before they could quote. In the meantime, I contacted another company who quoted immediately and came to collect it straight away. I told the gilder I didn't need their services anymore, only to receive a nippy email from John complaining about giving out free advice (which I didn't ask for) and my lack of communication with him. The whole time, he acted as though he didn't want to the business, until I took my business elsewhere and then he feels the urge to complain to me about it. Take offence and moan about it or see it as a valuable lesson John, I don't care either way!

Absolutely astonishing place. Even if you're not antique hounds (like we are), this is still worth seeking out, simply to experience walking through 50,000 square feet absolutely crammed to the gills with furniture, art, and other vintage. Rather like a museum where you can actually buy stuff. A must stop if you're in Leith.

Great space to wander about. Sandra and staff helpful. Found some items and they made the delivery process very easy. Will go back and look again.
