I popped into this plant shop out of pure curiosity after noticing their selection of pots—and I ended up staying much longer than expected. The gentleman who helped me was very friendly and generous with his knowledge. He gave me so many practical tips about plant care that I honestly wish I’d known years ago. I learned a lot just through a relaxed conversation in a beautiful shop, and I walked out feeling much more knowledgeable about how to look after my plants. The shop itself is gorgeous, with a great selection of plants, pots, and everything you need to care for them. I’d absolutely recommend this place to any plant lover, and I’m already planning to bring my mum here when she comes to visit. A big thank you to the gentleman who helped me so much—sadly I forgot to ask his name.

Lovely experience shopping at this store a few weeks ago. I was looking for house plants (with not a tonne of positive experience prior, at keeping them alive!) The couple working in the shop (said to be the parents of the owner, taking care of the store) were so welcoming, kind and patient. They were helpful in wanting to know what kind of plants I was interested in, what kind of space they’d be in (in terms of lightness, moisture, etc.) From there they showed me a variety of options to choose from, giving me plenty of time and space to make my choice - and giving their best advice on how I can best take care of them. The gentleman went above and beyond to even go out of his way and help carry my purchases a ten minute walk home! My plants are still alive and thriving - many thanks!

I came to this shop intending to repot my newly arrived monsteras into a larger pot. The owners, a lovely and friendly couple, were incredibly kind and helpful. When I showed them a photo and told them I wanted a bigger pot, they kindly advised me that it’s actually better not to replant newly arrived plants right away. They didn’t push me to buy a large pot and instead gave me some soil, which only cost a few pence. They also enthusiastically introduced me to the plants in their shop. The whole experience was amazing—very welcoming, reasonably priced, and informative. I even bought an air plant! I’ll definitely come back here with any plant-related questions. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

A wonderful shop. The shop owner's parents were watching the store at the time and they were so lovely and friendly. Made me feel super welcomed as a visitor and immediately a part of the community. In addition to plants they have unique crocheted pot covers. Couldn't resist getting one myself!

Whether you're on the hunt for a low-maintenance succulent or a statement-making Monstera, they've got you covered. It's like being a kid in a candy store, but instead of candy, it's lush foliage and vibrant blooms tempting you at every turn. Trust me, you'll want to take home one (or five) of everything! And let's talk about their soil refill station—it's a plant parent's dream come true! It's like they read my mind, making repotting and caring for my leafy buddies an absolute breeze. Seriously, if you're in Edinburgh and you haven't checked out GREEN. Leith yet, you're missing out on some serious plant magic! P.S.
