To the President and Executive Leadership of GFS Home Loans — I am writing this not just as a frustrated customer, but as a professional who was misled, mishandled, and ultimately mistreated by your lending team. Despite entering this process in good faith, your team bait-and-switched my rate, wasted critical time, and refused to release the XML appraisal file, effectively sabotaging my ability to work with another lender — a move that feels like pure retaliation and possibly unethical. Here’s what happened: I was quoted favorable terms and encouraged to move forward, only to be presented with much worse terms at the last moment. After expressing my desire to work with another lender due to the bait-and-switch, your team stonewalled me on releasing the appraisal data I paid for. I am now at risk of losing a major investment opportunity due to your team's delays and lack of transparency. This isn’t just about money — this is about ethics, professionalism, and integrity. I’ve lost weeks of momentum and potentially tens of thousands in future cash flow due to this experience. To the president of this company: If this is how your team is trained or allowed to operate, then something is deeply broken in your lending culture. If not, then someone under your name is acting in bad faith — and I urge you to look into it immediately. I will be sharing this experience on every relevant platform — not out of spite, but because other clients deserve to know how you operate behind the scenes. Fix this. Make it right. I’m easy to find.
