Amazing place to take ballroom dancing classes! My partner and I had never danced before and decided to give it a shot and it was so much better than what we expected. Our teacher, Amanda, was very enthusiastic and encouraging and made the classes engaging and fun from the very start. Can’t recommend this studio enough if you’re thinking about getting into ballroom dancing. Also they hold socials after the classes so that you can practice what you’ve learned and meet some people along the way.

We did the 6 week beginners course. Had a great time, very relaxed and easy going. Ryan was very patient with my husband and me.

Great venue for dancing. The entrance has old school charm as you enter through the large double wooden doors framed with stuffed goat, deer and ram overhead. There’s also a range of other historical paraphernalia on your right behind glass. Once in, you navigate down some stairs to reception and then down more stairs into the main hall. Ceilings are high adding to the spaciousness and the wooden floor is well polished. #gilkinsonsdancestudio There’s a bar and chairs to sit on around the room but the air conditioning is a bit lacking despite the four large wall fans.

Highly recommended. The learning pace is good and instructors are patient. Excellent place to go for those who are shy and new to dancing. A great selling point is that partners are not required and social dancing is available after lessons to solidify what was taught in class.
