From the very first phone call with Jody, we knew we had found someone incredibly special. Her warmth, care, passion, and genuine love for what she does were immediately clear, and from that moment on, we felt completely at ease. Our wedding was two years in the making, and for those two years we never once doubted that we were in the best hands possible. Jody didn’t just plan our wedding — she walked the journey with us. Every detail, every decision, and every moment was thoughtfully considered and executed to absolute perfection. On the day itself, the staff were amazing, everything ran seamlessly, and the incredible vendors we had the privilege of working with were a true reflection of Jody’s talent, relationships, and impeccable standards. Myles and I can honestly say our wedding day was beyond anything we ever imagined. It was breathtaking, emotional, and perfect in every way, and that is entirely because of Jody and her team. We are endlessly grateful for everything she did for us, and for the friendship that grew along the way. Our thoughts about our beautiful wedding planner, Jody Q - All i can say sit down for this one We got engaged in November 2024 with the goal of getting married in November 2025, and wedding planning felt completely overwhelming. Then I found Jody Q Weddings. From our very first two hour phone call, something inside me just clicked. It felt like a core memory in the making, the butterfly effect that would shape our entire wedding journey. I remember turning to my fiancé and saying, “It’s got to be Jody.” Everything I choose is based on energy and instinct, and hers felt warm, grounded. Even after reviewing my shortlist, I kept coming back to her. What makes Jody extraordinary is that everything she does is intentionally bespoke. She doesn’t follow trends or do what everyone else is doing. She looks at you, your story, your style, your heart, and crafts a wedding that feels uniquely yours. In a world where so much wedding styling today follows trends and can start to look the same, Jody refuses to let your day blend in. She honours your love story as something sacred, something to be felt and experienced, not copied. From the very first conversation, it felt like we were kindred spirits. She inherently understood us, our story, and the vision we carried. From our experience what stood out most was her presence. She didn’t just organise our wedding, she walked the journey with us. Every message answered, every call returned, every worry met with calm reassurance. Instagram DMs, texts, check ins, she was always there. When you are planning the most important day of your life, that kind of dedication becomes everything. She went above and beyond in ways I still struggle to put into words. I cried from pure gratitude multiple times throughout this process. She didn’t just bring my vision to life, she ELEVATED it into something I didn’t even know was possible. She understood my vision in a way that left me speechless. The most unexpected and beautiful part of this journey was how Jody became more than a planner to us. My husband and I see her as family. When we stood in a room filled with the people we love most in the world, Jody belonged in that space. She wasn’t just working, she was part of our story, our memories, and part of the love that held that day together. For anyone getting into this journey, pause and really feel what you value. Choose what truly speaks to you. Don’t settle for cookie cutter. Pick the things that matter most and choose your teams wisely, you only get one day. My husband and I would choose Jody every single time. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and a huge part of that is thanks to Jody. Words can’t truly capture it, it’s so much deeper than that. Jody and her team went above and beyond for me and my husband during the entire wedding planning process. I couldn’t recommend her enough! She got to know both of us and it felt like we have known her for years. On my wedding morning I have never felt so calm (and that’s saying a lot given I’m usually such an anxious person). We felt so confident knowing everything was under control and taken care of. Attention-to-detail was paid to every detail, from the run sheet of the day to special touches I didn’t even think about ie honouring my late father at the reception too by creating a special spot for the memorial signage. Jody is such a beautiful soul and any bride would be so lucky to have her! She truly genuinely cares about her couples and creating a magical day for them! If you’re tossing up whether to have a coordinator, do it, it will be the best decision you’ll make!
