This was my 2nd time here. The first visit was good, but needed improvement. Well, improvements were made! I ordered the mussels marinara as an app and not only was it HUGE, but it was also delicious! The basket of bread and dipping sauce that was brought to the table was heavenly. Our table ordered chicken parmigiana and Spaghetti and sausage, and we were both more than satisfied with our entrees. The service was good and our server was very personable, as was the manager that came over to say hello. You must check out this place!

My husband and I made reservations here mid November ( week before Thanksgiving) as a last date night before I gave birth to our daughter. Please note it was for 6 pm on a Sunday. We were promptly seated but the waitress immediately gave us the heads up that they were short staffed and had a 15-top table coming in. We weren't in a hurry by any means and appreciated the honesty. We immediately reevaluated our expectations and hunkered down for what would be an extended dinner due to the delay. Drink order came out pretty promptly. Ordered an appetizer and our entrees at that time. Took about 20 minutes for the appetizer to appear. We had the fried mozzarella. Very delicious and highly recommended! Entrees took another 45 minutes. In that time drinks were not refreshed. We finally flagged someone down in order to get refills on water and begged for some bread! ( Hungry pregnant lady!) The entrees, once received, were quite good. Very traditional Italian which I enjoyed immensely. We plan on giving them another chance and hope that it's a better service experience.

Money Making Mitch - that’s his name! He provided exceptional service and had the best sense of humor! We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our visit (4th time here): atmosphere, drinks, freshly baked bread and oil medley, salad, entree, and dessert! The hostess and owner were nice also. Will definitely visit again the next time we’re in Greensboro.

This is a tough one. During Highpoint market things get very busy and sometimes things don’t go smoothly. Tonight we ate at Giovani’s and were greeted by a woman that right off the bat said we don’t have any tables, you’re going to have to eat outside. Mind you the table they sent us to had a fireplace that worked for about 3 minutes. We asked to be seated inside, mind you we did have a reservation. Thankfully we were seated inside, it was 52 degrees outside and dropping. Our waitress was a gem, her manager was not. Again, things don’t always go to plan and the staff was overwhelmed. The true problem was the management was unkind and very short with the staff. This made them stressed and we did our best to let our server know that we realized her situation and did not blame her. The food was just ok and what could have made up for it was a little grace from their management. I hope they can come together and realize that as a team they can get over anything. I had the Veal Masala and my wife had Spaghetti Carbonara. Both just ok and not up to the standard we’re used to, we’ve been eating there for over 20 years.
