Glacier Games is, by far, my favorite gameshop in all of Anchorage. They use their own website to list their singles, streamlining looking for cards while also not being too mainstream, as to have a scalper on TCGPlayer buy out their well-priced singles. Due to this, their singles selection is immaculate for Magic: The Gathering cards. Fair deals, same day pick up, and the option for shipping keep their singles market alive by being flexible, fast, and plentiful unlike their competitors in Anchorage. And if there is ever an issue with an order, they're more than happy to help and amend said issue. Another place where Glacier exceeds in is customer service. Their clerks and the owner of Glacier Games have always been helpful and quite personable. A great example of this is when I was picking up a cheap single to tweak a deck I own. I went up to the counter and the clerk remembered that I was looking for a specific, separate card about two weeks ago that they just put up for sale and offered to add it to the sale. Interactions like these make Glacier my #1 pick for singles. As for their games nights and community, there is none better in Anchorage than Glacier. The table layout is spacious while also providing ample seating for many games of commander to be had at once. The store culture caters to all brackets of play while remaining a place for casual players to enjoy a match without having to pay an admission fee. It is my #1 pick for my commander nights, I just wish it was hosted during a more convenient time. Overall, I've yet to have a bad experience at Glacier games and it is by far my #1 pick in all of Anchorage to play MTG Commander.

Buyer beware of you're purchasing online from this store. The minute several cards go up in price, they will refund your order and tell you it was due to an unexpected error. This is store you can't count on. Update: owner called me to explain his store only sells to locals. Makes no sense when he has a shipping price on his site.

Such a wonderful shop! The owner is always nice and helpful, which makes every visit a great experience. They carry a really nice selection of cards, board games, used video games, hobby items, and you can tell they put care into keeping the shop well stocked. My young son absolutely loves coming in with me, he always feels welcome and excited to look around. It’s rare to find a place that is both kid-friendly and has such a great selection for collectors. We’re really grateful to have this shop in the community and look forward to stopping by again and again.
