I've rented pontoon boats from Glade Marina multiple times, and the experience has consistently been top-notch—reliable boats, smooth performance, and a staff that's always friendly, professional, and eager to assist. These aspects have made every trip enjoyable and earned them a near-perfect rating in the past. However, my most recent rental left me frustrated. Despite returning the boat in pristine condition, I was charged a $50 non-refundable damage waiver fee. The staff explained that this was outlined in the 15-page rental agreement, but I find it unreasonable to expect customers to sift through dense legal jargon to uncover such fees. Charging for hypothetical damage that never occurred feels like a predatory policy, and the lack of clear, upfront communication about this non-refundable fee undermines an otherwise great experience. Glade Marina offers quality boats and exceptional service, but they need to prioritize transparency by clearly disclosing all fees upfront. Eliminating or better explaining policies like the non-refundable damage waiver would go a long way toward maintaining customer trust and ensuring a truly five-star experience.

Honestly could not recommend a better place to me, regardless of what you’re doing. Renting boats, boat club, valet service, docking slips; everything is amazing. The staff are extremely helpful, efficient, and friendly, and overall a well equipped team. Favorite place to be for sunsets, people, and just relaxing.
Glade Marina is truly the best option on Lake Allatoona. Friendly, accommodating staff. Premises are always clean and well cared for. The manager seems to have a nice vision for the marina and always looking for ways to make it better. We absolutely love it here! Best sunsets on the lake!
I can’t say enough good things about this marina! We’ve been using their covered dry storage for a couple of years and use their valet service during the boating season, and it has been a game-changer for our family. The General Manager, Bonnie Abdon, has done an incredible job improving efficiency and customer service since she took over. This is, without a doubt, the best-managed marina on Lake Allatoona. The boat porters are exceptional. Their valet service is top-notch, and it’s clear they take pride in their work. Under Bonnie’s leadership, the team really goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. As a dad with young kids, I appreciate how effortless and enjoyable our boating trips have become thanks to this outstanding service. Highly recommend!
