The most special place on Lake Lanier! Sunrise Cove is an absolute gem, filled with some of the best people you are ever going to meet. The marina is a peaceful, park-like setting that you are just not going to find at some of the more commercial properties on the lake. The property is also very secure with a gate at the front entrance and a friendly guard. Rental pontoons and deck boats were added this year. They were clean, maintained, and fairly priced. A great way to spend a day on the water. Janice, the general manager, cares deeply about making things right for her boaters. This shows in her staff, including friendly Rosalyn in the office, and Ed, Brandon, and Reily out maintaining the docks. I highly recommend this marina as the best place to float your boat on the lake!

This is a nice, quiet marina. There are people living full time here and they all seem very friendly and helpful. This is one of the cheapest marinas on the lake and the staff is very friendly as well.... The docks are a little outdated, but they are currently updating things dock by dock and relocating customers while in process, with the option to move permanently or come back to the new docks at the ae rate. So not bad at all! The process seemed very fair to their current customers.. So all in all, a very nice, and affordable place to keep your boat! And very diverse as they can accommodate large house boats, to small boats as well as sail boats which was great!

This marina is a hidden gem. You can really tell this marina works with nature, not against it! The employees and dockmates are like family. The view from our boat is stunning. I recommend this marina for people looking for fun, but also want to absorb the beauty of Lake Lanier.

We love going to Sunrise Marina! The staff are so great and attentive. Janice is so thoughtful and thorough. I would recommend all of my boating friends to store their boat here. It is more than just a Marina, it’s a community. Feels like home.

Lake Lanier is a beautiful man-made lake. Watching the sunset on the lake is amazing. The boat dock nearby is one of the best places to put your boat in the water. You can cookout on your boat and watch the people skiing, canoeing or just having fun. People are always friendly. My family has been coming to Lake Lanier for as far back as I can remember. Fishing , riding jet skis , or just enjoying the beauty of the Lake. One thing we ask of visitors to Lake Lanier is to please dispose of all your litter responsibly. A lake is like a gift for people to enjoy so please treat it with respect to the birds , fish and other animals that call the lake home. And above all be safe. Remember Lake Lanier was created by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the 1950s by constructing Buford Dam on the Chattahoochee River. This damming flooded a large area, including farmland, towns, and cemeteries, to create the reservoir. So be safe and never swim alone. Welcome to our beautiful lake.
