Lexa and I trained with GDO from one of the early level 1 classes to club - I cannot recommend them enough, GDO classes were the highlight of both my and Lexa's week for over a year. We only stopped training with them because of moving out of Scotland, if I was within a commutable distance, I would still be training at club! Classes covered various aspects of obedience in detail while helping everyone keep their dogs motivated and excited about training, and there's a great level of support to work through any challenges with specific exercises in a way that works for both the dog and handler. Both the trainers and club members celebrate each other's successes and encourage each other to try new things, which give the club a lovely community-spirit and good vibes.
Had the best time working with GDO with Chino. Muzzles are allowed. Was so worth the drive down from Inverness. Wish we lived closer. Sybil was also made to feel welcome at their workshop hosting Emma from Raven K9s. The fanciest GSP! They are a small community with big hearts and common aspirations for our dogs. Looking forward for Dave to be able to attend
Attending club is the highlight of the week for myself and Kingsley everyone is so helpful and supportive. Kingsley absolutely loves everyone and has came on leaps and bounds not only with his training for obedience training but also in other areas as we both gain more confidence. The fact that while everyone is doing the same things, Lhanna and Lanette come up with different ways that will motivate your dog adapt how to do things that work for both you and your dog. Both Lanette and Lhanna are both patitent and take their time to explain things in a way that you can understand how to progress you training
I joined Ayrshire Dog Obedience with one of my dogs, already knowing Amie. Met Lhanna there and was at once put at ease by these two wonderful people. I rapidly joined another Level 1 course with a second dog and I am considering join the latest Level 1 with my third dog. My dogs love their work and the trainers. Have since been to GDO and met yet another wonderful trainer Lannette and all the other lovely people and dogs who are all so supportive and friendly. Please keep up the great work you do and will continue singing your praises to everyone I know!
Holly and I have had so much fun learning new skills encouraged by Lhanna and Lanette at Glasgow Dog Obedience. They use a variety of approaches in a positive, rewards based training style. We even surprised ourselves by managing to achieve a couple of rosettes in competitions we were encouraged to enter. Fabulous experience 😁🐾💕
