I found Glide after bouncing around a bunch of group fitness gyms in San Diego, and it quickly became the one I actually stuck with. It has a great community and a smart workout structure that’s delivered real results. And the results speak for themselves, I’m in some of the best shape I’ve ever been in. What really sets Glide apart is how personal it feels. Classes are small, under 10-12 people, so you’re not just another body in the room. Josh, Lisa, and Tom genuinely pay attention; giving form cues, weight suggestions, and modifications when something feels off. Their backgrounds clearly lean into injury prevention and long-term progress. The vibe really sold me too. Early morning classes tend to be the same crew, which makes it easier to stay consistent (even for someone who’s the opposite of a morning person) and it feels more like a community than a typical group fitness gym. Add in the friendly dogs you might see around the gym and it just feels more human and less like a big corporate group fitness spot. If you want high quality training in a smaller, more personal setting, Glide is a great place to check out.

I've been going to Glide for almost two years now, and it's easily the best gym I've been to. When you're here, you'll notice that most people are quite fit but also managing some sort of past injury. As someone who loves training but has also had two ACL surgeries, I appreciate that Josh can and will work us really (really) hard, but safely. The trainers are super knowledgeable, easy to get along with, and sticklers for form in the best way possible. I will say this gym isn't for everyone. It's not flashy, no machines, no egos. But if you want a really good, functional, challenging workout with a chill group of people, this is a great spot. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about Glide. Josh is amazing—super knowledgeable, supportive, and truly cares about everyone who walks through the door. The classes are fun, challenging, and welcoming, and the personal training really helped me stay consistent and accountable. I’ve lost 35 lbs and feel so much stronger and healthier because of this place. Glide has an awesome community, and I’m really grateful to be a part of it. Thank you Josh!!!

I’ve been going here for years, really enjoy it. Format is small classes (think like 4 to 6 people per class) with a good mix of strength/cardio. The trainers are big on form and will make sure movements are both protecting you from injury and also really maximizing the work out. They mix up the workouts in a way that you can go each day at a consistent time and by end of the week everything is sore. Great for people looking to get a great workout in the morning before work.

I've been going to Glide for group classes for about 2 years and I absolutely love it! The trainers here are the best I have ever trained with - they are knowledgable, easy to work with, and make you feel comfortable being there. It's a gym with a community, without the cult. Josh, Lisa and Tom are all incredible. Whether you're getting over an injury or just want to get a good workout in - this is a great place!
