My fur baby is a rescue and I'm very protective of him. I haven't had much success with groomers for him in the past, so have been grooming him myself. Due to recent back surgery I can no longer groom him. Golden Collar came highly recommended to me and they did NOT disappoint. Opie had the best experience and looks so amazing! Everyone was so sweet, kind and caring. I completely trust them with my baby and highly recommend them to anyone that has a fur baby. So blessed to have found them!

I literally love this place so much. I came back to write a comment on here because they treat my baby so good and they make her look so beautiful! Megan is amazing at what she does. If anyone has to think twice about coming here, don’t!!! Just come because you WONT regret it.

I've been bringing Tinkerbell here for a few years now and they always do an amazing job! Bath, haircut and nails are reasonably priced. The groomers are caring and professional and always do do a great job, ask for Kathryn! I always feel comfortable leaving my baby with them.

Just had to share the wonderful experience we have had with our new dog groomer, Audrey at Golden Collar Grooming in St Petersburg. After trying countless other groomers/places over the years for my Alaskan Malamutes (snow dogs), we finally found someone who truly understands how to work with that thick, unique malamute coat, and snowdog attitude. From the start, the groomer was friendly, patient, and clearly knowledgeable about northern breeds. My Malamutes have always been a challenge for other groomers, many have tried, but few actually knew what they were doing with all that fur and undercoat. Not this time! Here’s what really stood out: • The groomer took extra time to make sure my dogs were comfortable and happy. • They knew exactly how to handle shedding and matting, and my pups came out looking (and probably feeling) better than ever. • We have had other snow dogs that were traumatized at the groomers. Our furbabys just love our new groomer (Audrey) and are always very happy to see her. (If your dog is terrified of the groomer, something bad has probably happened. Consider a new groomer. Look for burns on the skin from hot clippers) • No shortcuts—just a thorough, loving, professional job. It’s so rare to find someone who can actually groom snow dogs properly, and I’m thrilled to have finally found our go-to place. If you also have a Malamute, Husky, or any double-coated breed, I can’t recommend this groomer enough. Thanks for taking such great care of our furry family members!

This was Ava Elizabeth's first time at Golden Collar and it was perfect! No long wait for an appointment and Audrey did a fantastic job making my girl look gorgeous! Ava Elizabeth came home relaxed and happy... So glad we found them... Don't hesitate to trust your fur child with them! ❤️
