The absolute standout for us was the almond croissant, the balance of flavours and the perfect crunch of the pastry with the filling was unbelievably delicious. Can’t wait to be back to try some other offerings and old favourites!

Love this bakery! They only make sourdough, but there is a lot of different types of loaves. Some of the best sourdough bread I've ever had. You do have to eat it within a couple days, but that really isn't a problem because it's so good! It is also quite reasonably priced.

Best danish I’ve had in my life by a large margin. The pastry was more flaky and buttery than most croissants, the blueberries were fresh and flavourful, and the cream cheese was fantastic. Genuinely blew me away and improved my whole morning

Amazing place, the croissants are just so addictive. Not sure what’s in there. They operate at limited hours so check for it and go. Only walk ins and take outs. Didn’t take any pictures but I recommend trying double chocolate croissant and almond chocolate.

We were in town for a night, staying at a hotel down the street, and were pointed in the direction of the Golden Hearth. When we arrived (Saturday morning) there was a small line up, a good sign! The smell was intoxicating and the selection was spectacular! We chose a country sourdough loaf, pain chocolate, almond croissant, and a croissant bread with almond cream, pistachios and cherries. All of the items were great, clearly all baked with love and care! The absolute standout for us was the almond croissant, the balance of flavours and the perfect crunch of the pastry with the filling was unbelievably delicious. Can’t wait to be back to try some other offerings and old favourites!
