Audrey and the team at Gourmet Gals did an incredible job on our rehearsal dinner and our wedding reception. We loved working with them! I was looking for healthy, delicious food at an affordable price. I interviewed four different vendors and they were clearly the best. They were attentive listeners and the proposal they sent reflected exactly what we spoke about. Audrey worked with me to craft our menu to ensure our choices would present and hold up well in a buffet style. They even made a custom chocolate cheesecake dessert that we wanted. During our wedding, the Gourmet Gals service team was outstanding, going above and beyond in every interaction and always checking in with me to make sure I was happy with everything. I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to Gourmet Gals. After three unforgettable events… my dear friend’s baby shower, my husband’s 60th, and our big Halloween party — this team has become so much more than a catering company to us. They’ve become a part of our celebrations, our memories, and honestly, a little piece of our family. Every time they walk through the door, I instantly feel the stress melt away. Their kindness, their calm energy, their confidence — it’s like they bring this beautiful wave of “we’ve got you” into our home. And they always do. Every single time. Chef Erin is an absolute treasure. Her food is extraordinary, but it’s her heart that makes everything unforgettable. You can taste the care she puts into every dish. She creates food that people talk about for weeks afterward… not just because it’s delicious, but because it’s special. You feel the passion behind it. And I have to speak from the heart about Ari… he is one of those rare people who makes an entire room feel taken care of just by being in it. There is a steadiness, a kindness, and a quiet strength about him that instantly puts everyone at ease. He doesn’t overpower the moment — he elevates it. He steps in with this gentle intuition, seeing needs before they arise, and creating a sense of calm that is genuinely a gift. Ari isn’t just incredible at what he does; he brings heart, grounding, and warmth that can’t be trained. It’s who he is. And the rest of their staff? Truly some of the warmest, most hardworking people I’ve ever met. They treat our guests like cherished friends, anticipate needs before anyone has to ask, and handle every detail so gracefully that I can actually enjoy my own events — something I never take for granted. Whether it was an elegant baby shower, a milestone birthday, or a neon-zombie Halloween extravaganza, they adapted to each moment with talent, creativity, and genuine love for what they do. They made each occasion better than I ever could have imagined. Gourmet Gals, thank you… from the bottom of my heart for everything you’ve done for us. We had a wonderful time working with Gourmet Gals for our wedding. They were our biggest vendor and they were very flexible and accommodating of our requests. It was a pleasure working with Jade, and Ari was always there to help us when Jade was occupied with the wedding season. They also worked with our venue and coordinator before which was a big plus and made everything go smoothly. They were very easy to work with on the payment plan and we thought their pricing was very competitive. It was also great that they took care of the rentals so we did not have to do that ourselves. The hors d'oeuvres and one of our entrees were delicious. We were however very disappointed by the fact that the chicken dish we had on the day of our wedding was completely different from what we had during the tasting. It looked different, and tasted nothing like what we had during our tasting. Attached are the pictures of “Sundried Tomato Char-crust Chicken Breast” during the tasting and the wedding for comparison. The fact that this was the most picked entree by our guests meant that most of them had an entree we did not really choose or would have chosen if it was what we had during our tasting. We still recommend them as we believe they can get their dishes more consistent between tastings and the actual event. We also believe they tried their best to make it up to us in the end when we brought it up, (although it was disappointing that they insisted these were the same dishes somehow). Overall, they were a vendor we could depend on, and Jade and the rest of the team at GG made it easy to work with them.
