I can’t thank Granby Veterinary Hospital enough for the incredible care they gave my cat, Bebe, over the years. Every visit was met with kindness, patience, and genuine compassion from everyone—the vets, techs, and support staff alike. They truly love what they do, and it shows in the way they treat both pets and people. When it came time for Bebe’s end-of-life care, their compassion and understanding meant everything. The comfort room made it possible for our final moments to be peaceful and full of love instead of stress or fear—a gift I’ll never forget. Because of their care, Bebe’s life was longer, happier, and more comfortable, and his passing was gentle and dignified. Thank you to the entire team for your tenderness, empathy, and heart.

I just can’t say enough about how great Granby Veterinary Hospital is. Every single member of the staff is so caring and seems to really enjoy their jobs. The Pet Desk feature and follow-ups by text are ideal for busy pet parents. Kudos all the way around.

Ghent & Granby veterinary is truly the best vet Hampton Roads. We have been bringing our dogs here for years- over 6 in total, past and present - and we couldn’t imagine trusting anyone else with their care! From routine vaccines , dental visits to surgeries and times when our dogs were sick, the staff has always gone above and beyond. They treat our dogs as if they were their own , with love, patience, and kindness. Highly recommend!!

We’ve trusted Ghent & Granby with our beloved pets since 2016, and they are simply the best. Soraya, the vet tech, went above and beyond, even calling me back after hours to ease my worries with such kindness and patience. Wolf was amazing with our nervous cat, and Dr. Copeland’s kindness and thorough care made us feel completely supported. The entire team is compassionate, professional, and makes both pets and people feel cared for. We couldn’t ask for a better veterinary team.

So glad we found this place! Our first time coming here we were greeted at the door and my dog’s name was on a little blackboard! His name was also on the door to the exam room. Those little personal touches are so nice! We were brought to the room right away after check in and offered a beverage, which caught me off guard. Most places don’t do this. I think it’s very nice! They had a blanket on the floor for my dog and the window was low so that he could look out. They also took a picture for his profile, which I think is cute. It was very clean and organized. They had an assortment of treats (including Hypoallergenic treats for those with food allergies). They are Fear Free and really take their time and go slow. They were very understanding of my fearful dog and didn’t treat him any differently. They also didn’t push it when he let out a small growl. Again, I am happy we found this place and plan to keep bringing Pretzel here. Irma was our tech and she was so nice and helpful. She was patient and answered all of our questions. We had Dr Marshall and we loved her as well. She listens and you can tell she really cares. Also, they checked us out in the exam room which is nice for those with reactive dogs so you don’t have to stand at the front and check out while hoping another dog doesn’t come by. They took it a step further by bringing us out a different way so we wouldn’t have to interact with dogs coming in as well. My dog is not reactive but this is so helpful for dogs that are! Thank you all! I highly recommend bringing your pets here!
