My experience with Greater Life Chiropractic has been a long and meaningful one. Since Spring of 2018, the practice has been a steady presence in my life—one rooted in consistency, care, and an emphasis on personal responsibility for health. I initially came in seeking relief from knee pain, lower back pain, hip pain, shoulder fatigue, and recurring headaches. Over the years, I’ve appreciated the welcoming environment, the professionalism of the staff, and the genuine belief they have in helping people live better, more intentional lives. That sense of purpose is real, and it’s a large part of why I’ve remained committed to their care for so long. At the same time, a long-term relationship allows space for honest reflection. One of the challenges I’ve felt most acutely is the turnover in chiropractors. With each new provider comes a different style, a different touch, and a period of readjustment—sometimes literally. While each chiropractor has been capable and well-meaning, the inconsistency in adjustments has occasionally made it difficult to feel the continuity that long-term care ideally provides. I’ve also become more aware of how individual and non-linear healing can be. While many people enthusiastically share how chiropractic care brought them relief in a short period of time, my own improvements were slow, gradual, and required sustained commitment. It took a real investment of time and effort, but over the long run I’ve seen meaningful improvement in nearly all of the areas that initially brought me in—my lower back, hips, shoulders, and headaches have all improved significantly. The notable exception has been my knee pain, which, despite consistent care, continues to persist. I’ve also wrestled with the messaging around chiropractic care and its impact on broader health conditions. The videos that play in the lobby often suggest that chiropractic adjustments can significantly aid conditions like high blood pressure or diabetes, even to the point of reducing or eliminating the need for medication. That promise, while hopeful, has not reflected my lived experience. Despite disciplined Xtreme Hike training, a controlled diet, and years of consistent chiropractic care, my blood pressure escalated to critical levels and stubbornly refused to come down. What followed was a difficult season of trial and error with medications and dosages just to regain stability. In the span of receiving chiropractic care, I have also been diagnosed with diabetes. To be clear, I don’t place blame on chiropractic care for these health challenges. Bodies are complex, and health is rarely linear. Still, it’s important to acknowledge that chiropractic care, while beneficial in many ways, has not reversed or prevented these particular outcomes for me. In some ways, that realization has been grounding. It’s reminded me that no single approach holds all the answers, and that true wellness often requires humility, balance, and a willingness to integrate multiple forms of care. Overall, my reflection on Greater Life Chiropractic is one of appreciation tempered by realism. The practice has supported me in meaningful ways and encouraged me to stay engaged in my own well-being. At the same time, my journey has underscored the importance of honest expectations and individualized results. Growth—whether personal or professional—comes from listening carefully to both success and struggle. In that sense, my experience with Greater Life Chiropractic has been not just about physical alignment, but about aligning hope with truth, and optimism with lived experience.
My favorite place to be! Only a month into treatment, and I am already starting to feel improvement in my body. The staff are incredibly kind and so sweet. Dr. Ham is the most wonderful person! Unfortunately, Dr. Grant is a Cowboys fan. 100/10
I just started this week & I am beyond grateful for this amazing group of Doctors & healthcare workers. It's extremely rare to find providers that make time to explain everything & to actually work on prevention medicine & not just sick care. I am still shocked by my X-ray results (since I decided to get started as prevention) but glad that I can improve my health. Looking forward to healing & live my best life & get my loved ones starting their healing journey as well. Update: 1 month since I started treatment & Im already improving. The entire staff is amazing, scheduling is super easy & walking into the office feels like a second home. Wish I have started sooner!
Long post, but worth the read… I can’t say enough good things about Greater Life Chiropractic! The care I’ve received here is truly top notch. Dr. Ham and Dr. Grant are extremely professional, but what really stands out to me is how personal, friendly, and welcoming the entire office is. From day one, I felt comfortable and cared for. I began treatments three weeks ago for numbness and tingling in my toes, and I’m happy to share that those symptoms are now completely gone. The holistic approach they take is exactly what I was looking for, care that is tailored to me, not a one-size-fits-all solution. Overall, I feel so much better, both physically and mentally. I’m grateful to have found Greater Life Chiropractic and highly recommend them to anyone seeking not just excellent chiropractic care, but a team that truly cares about you as a person. P.s.
