We were soooo excited to discover this place. The service was fast, efficient, and pleasant. We were seated promptly, the place was busy, and staff was hopping. But in spite of this no one seemed frazzled or stressed. We had pizza and wine. The "Don" with meatballs, Italian sausage, pepperoni and added olives. It was amazing, New York style. The crust was thin with a little crispy chew. Thes sauce had great flavor. We also shared a chocolate dipped cannoli. This was such a great change from a lot of the other places we have been. We highly recommend Grimaldi's!!
We used to eat at the original one in Brooklyn when we lived there. This one was fantastic. The sauce is so good, the mozzarella was fresh and beyond tasty. The coal fired brick oven gives the pizza a flavor that can’t be beat. We also got a calzone which was super. Great atmosphere and the waitress was terrific. If we lived near here we would go all the time.
My family let me choose where I wanted to eat for my birthday and I wanted to try someplace new... and I think I just found a hit for my family. This was the best pizza I've had in so long! The salad was phenomenal as well! Great atmosphere and service as well. I believe a chef came out and even gave my kids some dough to play with while we waited! 10/10 I recommend it if you're down in the North Alabama area!! I'll be a frequent customer from now on!
Great atmosphere. Waitress was very nice and helpful. Prices are a bit high but what isn't nowadays. The pizza was delicious and didn't take long to get to the table. Great experience, definitely will be going back.👍🔥🔥
First time Having brick-oven pizza. It was so good!!! I will definitely be wanting to go back. I'm not really into thin crust, but there's just something about this pizza that made it taste so good. Everybody was super friendly and our waiter was patient as I could not make up my mind with what I wanted. Had a good time with good food !!!
