This is my home gym and the place I find to fit my BJJ theory the best. It’s really a gym culture based on making sure Baltimore City kids can train for free. That ethos really does work itself through everything including the adult program and it creates what I call cooperative BJJ. Love this gym would give 20 stars if I could.

This is a great place with a great community of welcoming members and coaches. The gym’s coaches are all awesome and really make learning the sport of JitJitsu fun and interesting. They provide showers and water and the mats are well maintained. If you’re in Baltimore this is definitely the gym to train at.

There are many reasons to train here. The primary reason I train there is to help the kids. This is a nonprofit organization where the adults donate fees and all kids under 18 train for free. The jiujitsu is good. If you want to learn how to fight, train hard and get in shape, this is your place. There's a great group of high level folks that train at noon and exchange a ton of fight theory. Recently added mat space. Easy space for stand up and ground.

Amazing gym!!! I have been training here for 2+ years after years at different schools. All classes are taught by excellent black belts and there are many other higher belts around to spar with and learn from. The environment is extremely welcoming and open to EVERYONE regardless of age, sex, experience, sexual orientation or any other factor. lots of gyms have negative, overly masculine cultures but not Guardian. they are supportive and helpful to everyone whether you are a novice, expert or in between. If you want to compete this gym will prepare you very well and if you just want exercise, the gym is still perfect for you. The space is large and growing with plenty of mat space, multiple showers and changing rooms. The gym is a nonprofit where adults, like me, pay a reasonable tuition to support FREE training for Baltimore youth!!! the impact is incredible. Come check out guardian you won’t be disappointed.

The continuing support and overall atmosphere of this place is amazing. It’s perfect for young people who are still attending school virtually and need a little socialization. They teach camaraderie, self-defense and de-escalation, not just how to attack, and I have to say that’s what I like the most.
