Everything was really good. The atmosphere is also really comfortable and relaxing. The meat was also pretty tasty, and I preferred the thinner slices of meat over the thicker ones. The crunchy chili garlic oil was amazing and I ate it by itself with some rice. I also really recommend the steamed dumplings with chili garlic oil, they were so good.

This was our third visit to Gyu-Kaku in Greensboro. Our first visit was right after they opened, and our second was when they first introduced the All-You-Can-Eat menu. Both of those times, the service was slow and the food wasn't very impressive for the price. However, on this third visit, it seems like they’ve finally worked out all the kinks! The food was flavorful, and the service was fast and attentive. We went with the Supreme All-You-Can-Eat option, which provided an amazing selection of authentic sides and high-quality meats (though some might prefer the Ultimate tier, it's just personal preference). We were pleasantly surprised by how fresh the meat was and how well-prepared it was for grilling—definitely a step above other AYCE barbecue spots in the area. Granted, it isn't exactly cheap, but it was a genuinely enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!

The meat was good, but the service left little to be desired. I ordered a sparkling wine but it was flat, had probably been open for a few days. Our server visited our table three times in the 90 minutes we had. The food took 20-25 minutes to come after we ordered. There’s a gyu kaku in Iwakuni Japan, this is not a good American alternative. I’d recommend going to Kpot near four seasons instead!

Gyu-Kaku never disappoints. The quality of the meats, the flavor, and the overall experience make it worth every visit. Cooking at the table adds to the atmosphere, and the service is always attentive without being overbearing. Great spot for dinner when you want something interactive and elevated.
