I’ve been working with Aria for IB Math for the past six months and he has massively improved my experience with math and my understanding of complex concepts. He is incredibly knowledgeable providing very thorough explanations for everything that truly helped me understand the content. HYC has been incredibly supportive and professional. As a school administrator, I have been impressed with their values. We fundamentally believe that children should have unstructured time in their lives and the freedom to explore the many facets that make up their identities. If they spend too much time studying and tutoring, they often sacrifice habits that make a balanced, healthy life. HYC partners with families to find the balance between providing appropriate support and not recommending more than what is necessary to help a child reach their goals. I highly recommend Masoud and Hack Your Course IB tutoring services. Masoud is very professional in finding the right tutors to match our needs and responds quickly to our requests. Thanks to Aria & Claire, my daughter’s confidence and grades have improved considerably since she has been working with them for Math & French IB courses. We would like to continue with HYC tutoring services next school year as well. Also, Masoud & Rob agreed to tutor my daughter for the SAT when there is not even a month time left for the exam. They both scheduled 10-12 sessions each, within that short time frame and managed to prepare my daughter to improve her SAT score by more than 150 points, which is incredible. I’ve taken two classes at this institution. One was IB Biology with Sophia, a highly capable teacher whose lessons are concise and clear. She explains HL Biology concepts with great clarity, and I really like her teaching style, which strikes a balance between delivering knowledge and encouraging student thinking. She also organizes notes thoroughly for us on the concept board. The other class was IB English with Mr. K, one of the most entertaining English teachers I’ve ever had. Every class, he brings in content from different fields to guide my exploration, which has significantly helped improve my English, especially my essay writing!
