I appreciate the extended hours at the Haggin Oaks driving range. Can get busy on certain nights, but there are plenty of bays so you’re usually able to find a spot. The mats are solid to hit off of, and the shot tracker is a nice thing to have. The range is also very well lit, so it’s easy to see your ball flight even at night. My only downside is that the range balls are on the pricier side. Overall, a great place to practice.
Great place especially for beginners, no charge to enter and go hit golf balls. You just show up with your clubs and buy a basket of balls. They hace a section where they had a football game playing, with nice seating. We had a great time. Will definitely be back.
Please introduce time slots for the driving range. Wait times can get absurd especially since most of the patrons have a complete lack of self awareness. Will camp on three stalls while sitting around talking to each other. This place is really cool though, nice to hit late at night. Really needs a time limit though when busy..
*3rd Edit * these guys keep getting worse and worse. So they say that they're open until midnight yet still when I reach here at 11:15 p.m. why am I not able to get a simple bucket of golf balls. They have it locked off as if they were closed already. This is ridiculous. I wanted to just come hit a quick bucket of balls and got here with 45 minutes to go before closing time and I can't get a simple bucket. These guys are resting on their laurels and it's getting ridiculous now how they feel that they are the biggest and best in town and therefore don't have to try. And what makes it worse is I'm seeing everybody having a great time and I can't join in because they decided to lock it off 45 minutes before closing time. See the attached picture*2nd Edit* - I had to drop my rating from 5 to 3 due to their ever changing hours of operations. They are open til midnight during summer, then change to 10 pm during the "off" season. Lo and behold, I get here at 8:55 pm only to see that they changed it to closing at 8pm?!?! Like what the hell?!?! * edit * - I also just recently picked up my 6 Iron from the repair shop, and let me tell you!! Not only was the service (turnaround time) amazing, you simply can't beat the price!!! * End Edit * I love it there. The fact that they have top tracer installed is a massive Plus in my books. However if you don't like that they do still have bays that do not come equipped with top tracer. All in all this is a great place to go and learn more about this sport we call golf
Nice complex, but they're price gouging "because the machine broke." Came here to use the range with friends and got our balls at the food shack as the employees directed because the ball machine was down. Noticed when we went to split up cost that we were charged $3 extra per basket. Went back to the stand and told the guy he overcharged as their advertised price on the sign was less. (This is a plastic stand up sign that can easily be picked up and moved/layed down and was 10ft from the food truck they charged at). They told us that they can charge what they want because the machine was broken... I explained that it is false advertising to have that sign up next to his truck and charge beyond it. He didn't care. I asked if they would at least move or remove the sign (would have taken 30 seconds) and he just shrugged and looked at me like I'm crazy. Sad day when a place decides $3 per bucket is worth more than retaining customers and basic advertising integrity. Especially over something that makes no sense, like paying for the balls 10ft away from where the machine is when it's your system that malfunctioned. By the time we left, the machine was fixed. Strange, it was only broken during the after work rush around 5pm.... This place has gotten too big for its own shoes and I will no longer go here. Find another place to practice if you value honest businesses.
