Booked our Umrah package through Haji tours was an amazing experience of course especially in Makkah the hotel Emaar Grand was gorgeous and a short walk from the Haram customer service was good the whole 5 days we had there was great. Unfortunately our last day at Madinah at the Mokhtars Diamond (not so diamond) wasn’t very nice and why is as follows - Location is amazing literally 2 to 3 min walk from the Masjid Al Nabawi the rest absolutely rubbish. DO NOT BOOK AT ALL COST. Customer service doesn’t deserve that 1 but had to rate it. The manager at the desk was so rude I had to raise my voice as he thought he could talk to me in some type of way with a raised voice because I was a woman, customer service schooling is a must here. Hygiene is ok rooms are too small for four beds don’t expect to be opening the window for fresh air as it’s been blocked off by the huge head board. Shower curtain rail was on its last legs falling off I had to keep pushing it back up from falling. No coffee no nothing really, not even towels water pressure on the shower head was very low. Lastly if you ever do decide to book then plz check out at two as neither do they notify you to tell you what time check out is and neither do they have a notice up at reception about timing.
