Half Price Books

UPDATED 1/9/2026 Very friendly, helpful, dedicated staff made it easy for us to find the books we were looking for, as it's always easy to browse through so many choices. And if you can't find what you're looking for at this store, they'll search their other stores, letting you know if it's available and when you can pick it up at this store. Overall, shopping here is a pleasant experience. Plus you can sometimes find books available for more than half off. WARNING: Don't be surprised if your car will need a carwash if you park in the evening. Birds are a treat for the eyes in their large numbers. But they leave their "calling cards" on vehicles.

Great books section, large variety in general (for example, they even have a small comics section), very clean and airy buuuuut unfortunately movie section is kinda a mess. Unlike other locations dvds and blu rays are all shelved alphabetically together. First impression is amazing because it seems the movie section is huge but fishing for blu-rays is frustrating and a time sink.

I've ordered some non-fictional books here, which arrived swiftly and in excellent condition. Their library is endless, and they even carry television series and films. I highly recommend it to all my dear nerds and geeks.

Great store with amazing service each time! If you're ever looking for something specific, give them a call and they'll set it aside for you or point you towards the nearest location that has your title in stock! My only complaint is that they're not closer to my house.

We would've given a higher rating but the personnel at this location were just distasteful in every way possible! We were there for several hours and asked to take photos for this review, but they declined and told us no phots and to call their corporate location to speak to marketing! Needless to say, they never would answer after 16 calls! So we went ahead and took photos anyway! As you can tell, it's set up like all other books stores within the chain! I heard a few of the offers to people who brought books in and they were dirt cheap as most of the stores are also. The selection was good, but I did find several books that were water or liquid damaged and were on the shelf to be sold. They probably could've been trashed as they had duplicates available. The areas were marked with signs from above. The carpet was trashed in the store like all other stores, which I expected. I do wish the employees were a little more understanding and helpful along the way. Unfortunately, we won't visit this location again!
