Rob Rose from Handyman Connection did a fabulous job fixing/replacing a schluter edge problem from a prior construction. He was very careful and precise on getting the correct size and making the finish perfect. Highly recommend Rob and this company! Communication was also very good on scheduling and timing of fixing this.

We have used this HandyMan Connection a few times in the past and we have always been happy with their work. On this project we needed a cabinet taken down in our kitchen to accommodate a new refrigerator. Gary and his son Seth arrived on time and ready to work. They removed the cabinet and put up a piece of drywall to finish surface where cabinets had been hung. They also put up a piece of drywall to patch one other area in the kitchen. We will certainly use Handyman Connection again in the future. Certainly would like Gary and Seth to work on future projects.

If you care about your home, do not use Handyman Connection!! I made a huge, expensive mistake by contacting them. I had quoins that needed to be grouted at the top of my house, and William with Handyman Connection did the sloppiest work grouting. There is cement that dripped out from the quoins because he apparently used too much water while mixing. The cement dried to the bricks on my home and it looks atrocious. They tried sending another company out to fix the issue, and the gentleman said if he used a machine to remove the cement it would break the bricks off my home. He refused to touch the mess William created. See the attached pictures for how a professional did the grouting at the bottom and how William trashed the top. He clearly has no idea what he’s doing and Handyman Connection is doing nothing to fix the problem at this point. Instead of offering a refund and letting me pay another contractor outside of Handyman Connection, Earl, the owner of Handyman Connection, is sending back William, who messed up the project from the start. I did not pay to have expensive stone put on my house for this unqualified company to mess it up. After putting off coming to fix the issue for a couple weeks, William cancels today when he was supposed to come over to fix it today. He is so unprofessional and I am disgusted with this company in their work. I have been dealing with this issue for so long without resolution. Handyman Connection offers horrible service and terrible work. Never again would I call Handyman Connection to do any project on my home.

Scott Horrigan is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and always on time. He quickly and precisely fixed all issues we had with our home which were many, including exterior wood rot around several windows and a sunken porch. He also shared knowledge on how we can make our own improvements to keep other issues from arising. Excellent work. Thank you Scott!!

11/5/19: Scott is working with us on multiple projects for multiple visits. His level of knowledge and his ability to understand not just what needs to happen today but what needs to happen now to assist with the thing we might do 1yr+ from now is just what we want. He answers any questions we have, is willing to walk you through any process, and is unflappable with pets and tiny people running around during his entire visit. Can’t wait for him to come back. 11/14/19: Scott came back out and completely reworked our wall with our TV for us so we could safely run ALL of our devices that plugged in, instead of them all being off a surge protector. In the course of this we found that the entire family room was on the same circuit as the kitchen, so he took the time to talk me through it, did say that it could stay the same, but we both agreed it made more sense to just make the family room it’s own circuit, so he completed extra work all in one day. He does an amazing job, and I appreciate his expertise and ability to slow down and talk through a problem that comes up. 12/9/19: Scott came back out, and helped replace lights, which included needing to remove a big ugly fluorescent light for 4 can lights, all with our nice new programmable switches which link up to our Echos. We took the time up front to ensure all the light placements were perfect before cutting into the drywall, which I appreciate. He is also amazing at keeping his work space clean and tidy. Yes drywall makes dust everywhere, but he vacuums and cleans up between cuttings to minimize his impact on the rest of the house. 12/11/19: last of the light for us with Scott! He created a band new circuit of lights where no lights had been before, again taking the time up front to make sure the placement is perfect before cutting the drywall. He also swapped out two lights and put in all the new programmable switches for us again. Our entire main floor lights can now be controlled through our phones or asking Alexa! We couldn’t be happier with finally having light in all our rooms of our house! Now to just schedule for drywall repair 😬.
