Great neighborhood grocery store. Clean, well organized, and they carry specialty items I don’t usually find elsewhere. The hot bar is delicious — everything tasted fresh and well made. One small suggestion: a simple combo plate option for the hot bar (like two entrées with a choice of rice, beans, or tortillas, plus a grilled jalapeno) could make ordering easier for new or first-time customers. I’ll definitely be back.
I shop for my grandmother almost daily here. They have everything you need to create Mexican cuisine. Abuela loves the fresh made daily tamales at the food court. Tortillas made in house, hot and steamy. Meat Dept fresh and plentiful. All in all, a clean well maintained neighborhood market.
We used to like going to Hanks Farmer Market but they have gotten so expensive 💰💸 It's rare that you fine a good deal... maybe in the vegetable and fruit 🤔 section but honestly I've seen better prices at Smart & Final (where else). I'm especially surprised that they haven't been fined because of there inability to have wheelchair ♿️ access into there market. They have posts and gates all around the entrance. I used to take my mom and she used a walker and I would need to carry it over the gates... this is not a handicap friendly establishment 🚫
Affordable, authentic, and clean. Good Butcher, hot food bar, and a robust selection of mostly basic but fresh produce. Plenty of authentic Mexican and ethnic foods. A nice bakery with gorgeous desserts and fresh bolillos. Recommended!
Im giving it a 2 star review just because its not very wheelchair accessible. They always seem to have their ramps closed. And if you have a child and you’re coming in a stroller, don't bother coming. Stroller wont fit .
