I've taken a few classes with Hannah and I've loved every class. I'm a total beginner and Hannah is the best-she's a really fun and encouraging teacher. I look forward to class every week and I'm excited to take many more!

I’ve been attending Hannah’s art school for the past few months for a portrait class, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Hannah is an incredible teacher—her passion, patience, and deep knowledge of portrait techniques make every class both inspiring and educational. She creates a warm and encouraging atmosphere that allows students to grow confidently, no matter their skill level. Her guidance has truly helped me improve my skills and gain a new appreciation for the art of portraiture. I highly recommend Hannah’s Art school! I am a lover of art, and have dabbled in different mediums through the years, but am very much a beginner. As I was looking for painting classes / schools, many had a heavy theory component… I was not looking for that. As an adult working full time, painting is a release and hobby, I wanted to paint most of the time in class, with instruction + direction from an expert as needed. I wanted a small group environment, and one in which I did not need to buy supplies. I’m so glad I reached out to Hannah! It was perfect! Hannah is always around and there to give you feedback, pro tips, and answer your specific questions as you paint. She also helps you figure out what you might like to explore and try out! The days I’d go there, there were anywhere from 2-5 students (including me), never too large of a group! Everyone was of varying skill level, it was inspiring to see the more advance painters! Hannah also has more instruction based classes / series if that’s more your thing. I made new friends (including Hannah) and discovered what types of painting projects bring me joy… Def check out Hannah’s art school, it’s the best!

I've taken classes with Hannah before, and she's not only a gifted artist herself, but the most amazing and patient teacher. This studio is a gem! The space is awesome, and the community is even better. I feel like it's a dream to be able to come here and learn from Hannah. Love the studio and the classes, and can't recommended them enough!

Hannah is an incredible instructor. She has taken a beginning with no academic training and taught me how to see the big picture so I am able to produce realistic drawings. There has been a lot of sweat and tears on my end but she has stayed incredibly positive and encouraging even when I am been down on myself. She brings her incredible painting and drawing knowledge along with her always upbeat attitude to her studio. The open studio format is amazing as you can get to witness others journey and also learn along with them. She is great with kids/teenagers along with us adults. Coming to her class is one of the highlights of my week. I highly encourage anyone of thinking of to either to learn or brush up on existing skills to check out Hannah's Art Place.
