Master Francis is an amazing instructor, coach, and mentor. He teaches not just Taekwondo techniques, but discipline, humility, and perseverance - lessons that have stuck with me far beyond martial arts. It's inspiring to see how much the gym has evolved in their new, larger studio while still keeping that same spirit of dedication, community, and excellence. Whether you're a beginner, hobbyist, or experienced martial artist, Han's Taekwondo is an excellent choice for fitness, growth, and self-defense.

My 3rd grade son had his very first Taekwondo class yesterday, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. He’s on the smaller side and hasn’t shown much interest in sports, so I wanted to try something that might help him grow stronger and more confident. Coach Felix was absolutely wonderful with the kids—so kind, encouraging, and full of positive energy. Watching him teach made me smile the whole time! My son had such a great time. He was really engaged, got sweaty (which is rare!), and even came home with a big appetite. It’s been a while since I’ve seen him enjoy being active like that. I truly believe this will help him physically and mentally—not just with fitness and growth, but also with self-discipline and self-defense. Now I’m even thinking about signing up my daughter, and honestly, I’d love to try it myself too! Huge thanks to Master Esposo and Coach Felix for making our first Taekwondo experience so positive and welcoming. We’re really excited to continue!

If you want a friendly atmosphere and are looking for a good dissapline school. This school is one of the best. They are well trained and great people. There, Tae Kwon Do sparring team are one of the best all-around. I suggest you go try it. Go on Wednesday and see their sparring night and go again on a different day to have a better feel on what they do during the week. Master Francis is one of the coolest teachers I know. Don't worry about the cost....Master Francis will work with you if you truly want to study and learn the art. I give this school a High Five 👋

Let’s start off with the amazing community that Master Francis has built here in the city of Bakersfield. I called this place asking how much the lessons are, and to my surprise master Francis told me to come in and get a 1st hand experience of how the lessons were gonna be! After coming in, I was told about the place and the program they have to offer for different age groups. Then Master Francis let me join the group for a one day session to see how I would like it, and it was an awesome experience! I got to meet the students and was able to learn new things just from a simple curious phone call. I would definitely recommend this place for ANYONE that is looking for the right place to learn and improve in martial arts 🥋 Thank you to Master Francis for giving me an opportunity to watch and learn from his dojo! 🙏🏽

I signed up my son for the first time ever because I heard this was the best school. Unfortunately if your child has a disability such as autism the instructor will not work with you. I asked for one oh1 lessons but unfortunately they were not able to accommodate him because of his disability. I do not recommend this place for any child that has a disability
