Larry Langer used to run PHC in Elk Grove, CA. I attended their “horsemaster” program in 1974. It is a miracle any of us kids survived that summer. We ran around at will & Larry had great disdain for any of us. He was good at parting wealthy parents of their money. Horrible man.

We were looking for horse boarding for one night, it was late in the day 4:30pm so granted they probably wanted to leave work. That said, the two women who I spoke on the phone were rather apathetic to our cause an unwilling to stay the 15 minutes it would have taken us to get there, or email me the paperwork in order to expedite the procedures for the horses to stay for the night. When I asked if either of them had suggestions of where I could keep the horses they came across annoyed and as if this was a great bother of information I was asking for. Either way if you're the common horse loving person who just needs a little bit of help don't recommend these folks have a good day.

Fantastic facility, wonderful staff, really well run and immaculate toilets, even air conditioned units.Great food and beverage availability and wonderful access with horses and gear. Top Class Show Ground.🙏❤️

Just celebrated my son’s first birthday/ baptism this weekend at Hansen Dam Horse Park! I reserved the ClubHouse for my event and it was so beautiful! My event turned out great! I loved that the clubhouse was very private, clean, and spacious! It is composed of an indoor hall, large patio, and a large area in the back. The restrooms were nice and clean; I had no issues with this location and I would definitely recommend it. Thank you Hansen Dam Horse Park for letting me host my event here. Special thanks to Vernell, Jimsie, Luis, Susan and others who were very easy to work with. Thanks :)

The horse boarding facilities are very nice, and they also have an area for trailers to park during shows. Very organized.
