A hidden gem for book lovers and coffee lovers. Lots of great books, cozy places to sit and read, to play games or visit with a friend. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Haven Coffee and Books is exactly what you want from a neighborhood café / thoughtfully curated, welcoming, and easy to settle into for hours at a time. The concept itself stands out: a blend of specialty coffee and a carefully selected collection of books that encourages you to slow down and stay awhile. The atmosphere is where this place really shines. It’s warm, calm, and intentionally designed, with cozy seating and a layout that makes it just as good for catching up with someone as it is for solo time with a book or laptop. There’s a quiet, community-driven energy that makes it feel like a true local gem rather than just another coffee stop. The coffee is just as impressive. You can tell there’s a focus on quality from well-balanced espresso drinks to smooth, flavorful brewed options. Everything feels crafted rather than rushed, which matches the overall vibe of the space. What elevates Haven even more is the people. The staff are friendly, approachable, and genuinely engaged, creating an environment that feels inclusive and relaxed without being overbearing. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, read, work, or just enjoy a great cup of coffee in a thoughtfully designed space, Haven Coffee and Books absolutely delivers.

This place is so cool! I'm back for a second day in a row after discovering them yesterday. It's spacious with tons of comfy seating (couches, arm chairs) and outlets for long work sessions. The owner is personable and this place is clearly her baby. I loved the rebel-nerd vibe and all the fun, artistic decor. Found my new go-to spot!

This is only my second google review. So hopefully my 5 stars hold more weight than others. As much as I would like to keep this little slice of Haven all to myself, that would be extremely selfish of me. Luna and I have become regulars that I even have my own unusual order (which is basically whatever I’m in the mood for) . As soon as you walk through the doors of Haven Coffee and Books you can immediately feel the loving vibes it gives off. This place has become a home away from home and I love that I can sit in silence or have an engaging conversation with other patrons. I wish nothing but good fortune for Haven because they deserve it. But if this place becomes too successful I will review bomb it because of selfish reasons 😅 (JK I won’t…or will…)

Such a cool place! Who doesn’t love this combo?! Trio was so friendly and I’m looking forward to going back when I can hang out and browse the books with a coffee.

What a cute hidden gem in Aurora. I popped in during a weekday to do some work. There were lots of tables on the coffee shop side to work or play games, and lots of cozy couches for reading! I also saw a private game room and a large collection of board games to borrow. I didn’t have time to peruse the book side, but it looks like a great place to grab a new book, have a cozy reading session, or catch up with a friend.
