Rare Tea Aurora has great interiors—bright, modern, and super inviting. I tried the strawberry boba, and it was refreshing and genuinely good. A solid spot for a quick boba fix.

Rare tea has been my favorite since they opened and their lychee smootea is soo good! But unfortunately when you ask for drinks with no sugar or less they taste super sweet still. You don’t know what you’re going to get and it makes you doubt if they really follow the order instructions.

This is my second visit to Rare Tea and it’s officially my go-to spot whenever I’m in town! I got the Coconut Vietnamese Coffee (blended)… absolutely scrumptious! My daughter had the Rose Matcha Tea and loved it too. The place has such a fun vibe with great music and the service was fantastic. Henry was super helpful with suggestions. Can’t wait to come back again!

First had RareTea in Reno, NV. So happy they have a location in Aurora so that I can make a stop when I am craving their coconut noodles and rose matcha latte. This time we tried the mango coconut and taro smoothie. The flavors were great and aren’t too sweet nor bland. Service was quick and fast and the staff seem very friendly.

Rare tea is a franchise! I personally think they have better quality/you can actually taste the tea vs some other franchises. Their default size is the 24oz cups, they use pebble ice, and you can adjust sweetness. Drinks typically range between $6-8 which is typical for most boba places these days. No frills: classic milk teas and blended drinks. I have tried the Rare milk tea which is a black milk tea with a weird herbal taste that grows on you the more you drink. Recently got the Okinawa milk tea which was good. Large open space with tables for studying/work. Easy access but parking can get extremely full.
