Our salesperson, Melinda, was wonderful. But delivery communication hasn’t been. We were called this am & told our delivery would be 2 hours late because of weather. It’s now 7 hours late & much later than we would have agreed to have a delivery. It’s 8:15pm. Driver is supposed to call 30 minutes prior to arrival & still haven’t gotten a call. No updates and customer service is now closed. Someone should be available to take a call until the deliveries are done. UPDATE: we tracked the truck. Our delivery was marked complete at 9:56pm, but the truck got less than 5 minutes from our house and then turned and headed back to the warehouse. It was long gone at 9:13pm. But text ETA updates kept saying they were coming until finally the status changed to being complete at 9:56. We have cameras & lots of tracking screenshots (a few included in our review) showing that’s not true. Deliveries scheduled after us were delivered before us, which prompted our 2nd call. We were assured we would get our delivery. We rearranged & cancelled appointments to be here. We juggled our schedules all day as the delivery ran later & later. We did a lot of work to clear the snow & move everything that could be in the path to the room & cleared the room. We have family coming this weekend. We wanted the furniture here before they came. What an upsetting, stressful situation Havertys created for us! 2nd UPDATE: I had to call for an update. Nobody bothered to contact me. Although they do deliveries today, they cannot schedule us until Tuesday. No idea when on Tuesday because their system is inflexible. They’ll tell me Monday. Refunding us the delivery fee, which really is inadequate.
Tracy was a great sales representative and helped us find the perfect chaise for our irregular space. He also helped to make sure we would have options in the future to purchase complementary pieces when we are ready to upgrade our other furniture. It was really amazing to get to touch and pick out the fabric for the specific chaise we chose and also see how it would look on the chaise on the customization tool. Thank you Tracy for making our shopping experience wonderful!
Aug 2025 - 16 months update. The couch has lost its firmness and shape. The backrest pillows look collapsing and the seating cushions are sagging. The fabric of the areas which are frequently sat on, are peeling off. I now need to use a couch shaver to shave those peels every other month. This is not what I would expect from a $3100 couch. I am giving three stars entirely because of the exceptional customer service that I received from Louise Staton when I purchased this couch last year in store. Otherwise I would give zero stars. The first photo shows the couch from April 2024 and the second and third show it from Aug 2025. April 2024 - This review is based on my purchasing experience only. I’ll update the review once the couch is delivered and has been used for a year. I went there to purchase a deep sofa which had to be lesser than 88” in length. Louise Staton was a seasoned sales professional and made sure that my experience was top notch. She found me all options which could fit my criteria. She was very knowledgeable about the customization of couches as well. Customization of fabrics is a great thing Havertys offers which you can’t find anywhere else. I guess that’s why their furnitures are so expensive.
We stopped in to shop for a new sofa. The staff there is great and showed my wife and I several choices. Our sales agent was very knowledgeable of the products and answered all of our questions. I would recommend them to anyone shopping for furniture.
Very pleasant experience with low pressure sales associates. Product selection is always good at this location and prices are high (due to economy) but fair. They offer a military discount which is much appreciated.
