Heartsent did an incredible job with helping us adopt both our children. They were warm, welcoming, kind and organized. Always available to talk when we needed the help. Often we needed the chat just to encourage us. There were so many times they went above and beyond for us. By the end of it, it felt so much more than a business partnership, it felt like a deep friendship.

We adopted our child from Taiwan through HeartSent. Since we did not live in California, another agency did the homestudy. There were some different requirements that required us to complete the similar forms twice (medical forms for example, ...). It took a lot of time and patience to get all the documentations done. I wish the two agencies could come up with some agreements that similar forms could be acceptable so we could avoid some extra work for nothing. HeartSent was consistent with forms and provided guidance how to get all documents filled out properly. Dealing with paperwork was not easy, but HeartSent (specifically Flora) made it easy and we did submit all required documents incrementally upon request, then waited, and waited. If you would like to open your home for a child from Taiwan, look no further. Flora at HeartSent can make it happen for you. Post placement is handled by a different team. Our child is now happy at home, school and like any other kids out there. Thanks to HeartSent!

Several years ago, we adopted our daughter through Taiwan International Program with Flora's help. Both Val and Flora are incredible individuals. Whenever we attended in-person meetings, the place was filled with hope and joy. We could not be more grateful to Val and Flora. Their application and homestudy is rigorous; only those whose persistence demonstrate their strong desire and commitment can finish it. We feel that this makes sense, as adoption is a very serious commitment. We are going through the 2nd adoption process currently, with Flora's assistance again. This gives us the peace of mind.

We adopted through the Taiwan program and worked with Flora. She has a genuine heart for the children and desire for them to come home to loving families. She also was a great help because of her cultural knowledge of Taiwan and in constant contact with the people on the ground there
