I had the pleasure of sitting in ceremony with Laura last weekend as she guided me with each step on birthing my medicine drum. I had waited for over a year and a half to birth my drum. I was waiting for spirit to guide me to the right drum doula. Laura was great with the kids showing them the sound instructions and allowing them to play with them. I went to Laura’s Sonic Embrace Gong Journey and honestly, it was exactly what I needed. The space is small and intimate, which made it feel really safe and personal. Everything was already set up when I arrived, so I could just settle in and relax. The gongs were beautiful—really gentle and soothing, not too loud or overwhelming like I’ve experienced before. Laura gave a lovely explanation at the start and kept reminding us to come back to our breath, which helped me stay grounded. It was such a peaceful, nurturing sound healing event. I’ll definitely be back.
