Lorri is an incredible design and strategy house. In her art, she's able to hold the space to bring modern designs, textures and colors (that too to someone afraid of too much color in their home) in perfect harmony. In her way of working, she is there for the entire path. Spending the time to learn your full vision and working towards it with you. I highly recommend her for interior design, renovation and broader design goals from indoors to outdoors.

We did a major remodel, including a small addition and full gut of the kitchen/living common area. This was our first remodel project and I can’t imagine going through it without Hicks Cazenave Interior Design (HCD). The HCD Team made the process more efficient and less stressful, and now we live in a beautiful space I’m still pinching myself we get to call home. AND it was an absolute pleasure to work with the talented, kind and thoughtful HCD Team - Lorri, Berkeley, and Lucy were always patient, helpful, and wonderfully communicative. We were through the little kid years - it was time for a much needed update and enhanced aesthetic for years to come. I wanted a space where, no matter where I looked, there were moments of unique and beautiful design — little vignettes that worked together in harmony. HCD was first on the project and provided referrals for an architect and contractor. Throughout the process, Lorri listened, understood, and responded to input and feedback to create a gorgeous space that balances function, comfort, and durability — perfect for our family (including a preteen & dog) and frequent entertaining. So much of my time was saved with the HCD Team selecting out options for lighting, rugs, furniture, etc. - they sourced items we wouldn’t have found on our own and that we love! No doubt the process was smoother and more efficient with the HCD Team - they kept the job on task, collaborated and communicated seamlessly with us and the project team. Our space is beyond what we imagined and we have so much gratitude for Lorri, Berkeley and Lucy!

Lorri and team designed the interior of our downtown Four Seasons hotel residence. She came highly recommended and we weren't disappointed. From the beginning, she nailed the exact vibe we were searching for, which was inspired by our stays at the Four Seasons Los Cabo. Her design acumen was extraordinary at mixing high and low price point pieces to create a vibe where your home is truly your sanitary. While many designers are opinionated and rigid, Lorri was both collaborative and educated us on why certain choices were a better fit. Finally, Lorri and team were on-time and on-budget, which easily made working with Hicks Cazenave Interior Design an extraordinary experience. In the end, Lorri and her family are now dear friend's as she was central to helping us create so many wonderful memories in the space she designed. We look forward to working with her in another space.

Big thank you to Lorri and her team (esp. Iyohna, Lucy) for helping me achieve my dream living space. What stood out about Lorri was her ability to help me achieve my vision, even though I had no idea how to get there. She showed infinite patience and graciousness throughout my learning process, offering gentle guidance and flexibility. Most importantly, she was highly responsive and always made me feel my feedback was valued. Another highlight is she honored some of the existing pieces I already owned/liked and worked them into a brand new look. I am so pleased with the outcome... a home that brings beauty into my life while still feeling like me.

I had the good fortune of being introduced to Lorri through a mutual friend just as I was in the process of looking for an interior designer for the remodel of our home. From the beginning it was obvious Lorri has a great sense of style, color and design. She was quick to understand what we were trying to achieve: our style, intention, scope and budget. Her sunny, disarming disposition made our relationship very comfortable and easy. Together we worked through obstacles that appear when remodeling an existing space, and appreciated her vast breadth of resources. She pulls together patterns, shapes and colors in ways that are unexpected, striking and harmonious. Now that our project is nearly complete, we are thrilled with the results and I highly recommend Lorri. She is a wonderful person and a very talented designer.
