Amazing tour.... We took the 1 day highland tour that goes to loch ness, clen coe and the highlands and it was amazing. The bus makes regular stops for photos and breaks for snacks and stuff . The scenery is breathtaking!! The absolute blessing of the tour though was the tour guide. His name is Steven B and he is the soul of the trip. I dont know if there is actually a Steven A or anyother Steven of the alphabet , but this guy was amazing , funny and willing to drive us around safely for the whole duration of the trip always with a smile and offering tips and suggestions to really meet the Scottish culture. His storytelling skills are also amazing!! Thubs up for the whole team of Stevens aswell😂😂

Steven B was an excellent tour guide. He balanced the line between humor and information. He has the timing of this tour down to a science; he knew when to provide information versus when to turn on music and let us turn off our brains. He was an excellent driver and the bus was clean and comfortable. He gave clear, repeated instructions and did an excellent job at setting expectations for the day. He also clearly loves Scotland and was excited to share his knowledge with others. I would certainly travel with this group and Steven B again. We can’t think of anybody better to lead this tour.

First time to Scotland as a solo traveller and last minute time off work booked The Highland Experience Tours three day trip from Edinburgh to Inverness and Skye. And so glad I did. I will genuinely never forget the experience. Travelling the first week of January with train cancellations on the way to Edinburgh because of snow and blizzards, there was myself and a young couple on the tour who had decided to chance the weather! We were joined on day two in Inverness by another solo traveller. As a small party we were incredibly lucky to have lots of freedom to hop on and off the bus to take in the beauty, the (very cold) air and take photos. Our guide Alex was superb. He kept us safe navigating the snowy blizzards, rain and sleet. He was knowledgeable, amusing and spot on telling us some fantastic stories of Scottish history and folklore. I understand so much more now, and still believe the Loch Ness Monster could be out there! The scenery on the tour was literally breathtaking, Glencoe, Loch Lomond, Loch Ness, beautiful Skye, and time to meet and feed some hairy Highland coos! We were unable to visit Culloden battlefield which had closed because of knee deep snow, so Alex diverted to Falkirk to see Andy Scott’s Kelpies which are phenomenal. Despite the cold I smiled for three days. I am seriously thinking of selling up and moving to the Highlands. Take this trip - it is genuinely wonderful. And trust The Highland Experience Tours to look after you and educate you on the way.

Amazing experience!! We did the 3-day Highlands and Isle of Skye tour just after Christmas. Alex was our tour guide and was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great Highland experience even when the itinerary had to change due to some unexpected closures. He even stopped at places along the way that we had not anticipated to see and they were some of the highlights of our tour! The bus was nice and comfortable with plenty of space. The tour makes frequent stops which is great for kids and to let everyone have breaks without needing to ask. Alex recommended cafes and restaurants that were very good at our various stops. We were very lucky to have beautiful weather while on our trip! Overall, we were extremely pleased. On another trip, we will look into Highland Experience's other tour routes and would absolutely recommend to anyone!

An absolutely fantastic tour experience! Terri and Mike were great guides, making the nearly 13-hour trip entertaining and enjoyable. LOTS of great sights to see, and the time was effectively managed to make the most of it. We toured during the off season (in December), so the return trip was dark and less exciting, but that is just the nature of the timing. They arranged the itinerary to make sure that we still hit all of the best parts while it was still daylight. The Loch Ness boat ride and Urquhart Castle are a MUST! Super interesting, and great photo ops. Thank you for a very memorable experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
