10/22 - started my pilates practice again after nearly 3 years away, and got my daughter to start as well. It's the same welcoming atmosphere as it always was. The instructors I've met are all great - no judgment, accommodating to physical differences and we have fun. For anyone who thinks this is easy, you are doing it wrong! Added bonus, there are usually kittens, cats or dogs around the studios! --------------- I've been in both of the studios (east and west) and even when there isn't a pandemic, we aren't close to each other and there are a small number of people. Each of us, along with Amie, sanitize the equipment and space after each and every use and in between too! If you've ever struggled with physical body strength, back pain, or motivation, this is the best place to work through it all and build up your body and confidence. I know this because I have and it makes a difference for me.
I have really enjoyed working with Amie over the years and feel so much stronger. I initially started Pilates because of lower back and hip pain. Pilates has taken away the pain and my posture has greatly improved. Amie has taught me how to be kind to myself and make the time for self care. Highway 54 is a very positive environment.
I started taking Pilates and Barre with Amie a couple years ago and she’s a great instructor. I’d never taken either class before and love the workouts. Such a welcoming and friendly group – best place to try something new or continue down a healthy path. Your body will thank you!
I’ve been going to Studio 54 out west for several years. Since Amie opened the east studio I’ve been going since I’ve moved east. It is a VERY welcoming studio for everyone and even our fur babies come too! What a great place to train and stay strong as we age and I’ve never felt better! Aging shouldn’t be painful! I’ve embraced it and Pilates has helped me stay strong!
I live an hour away from the studio, so unfortunately I don’t get to the studio as often as I would like. I love to participate in Amie’s charitable classes where she gives the proceeds to a notable cause such as domestic violence shelters, the veterans hospital, animal shelter...just to name a few. On top of that the one on one attention is amazing as Amie was able to tailor the exercises to accommodate by back injuries while still giving me a vigorous workout. If I lived closer I would be a regular customer.

Build strength, reduce pain, and embrace wellness in a welcoming, pet-friendly Pilates community.
