We love what Hogue achieved for our transformation from a pool backyard to the beginnings of a restored landscape. In the future I hope to add in more native grass to the lawn but most of the other new plants are native / resilient for Harris county Texas. Kendall was a great partner in the whole creative and also managed the project really well.

RJ, Justin G and the whole landscaping team at Hogue was a great to work with. From the first interaction to the follow up meeting at wrap up for the project - all was top notch service and fair pricing! We had a cement pad placed in the back yard, a new driveway put in along with turf in the backyard complete. With great service and pricing, we even called them back for another turf project!

We engaged Hogue Landscaping do all new landscaping at our home and we cannot recommend them enough! They really tailor their services to what the customer needs - for us this was all encompassing from design, soil assessments, install, and maintenance. A couple of years ago we wanted to do this project after ~10 years at our home. We wanted to revamp our landscaping and hired what we thought was a good end to end company. Long story short it was a complete disaster and despite spending a significant amount of money, we were very unhappy with the results. Since then, we have really struggled to find a company that we felt comfortable with and trusted enough to try again. Thankfully, we connected with Hogue Landscaping Services. After reaching out, we started consulting with them on our landscaping needs, challenges, priorities, etc. They helped us with services like testing and analyzing soil to treat trees that were struggling which showed they had a comprehensive approach. It was evident from the start that they wanted to give us a wonderful experience this time and were interested and motivated in us getting a good result for our investment. We engaged with their landscape designer who was amazing! They drew up the design and showed where they could move and re-use existing plants/trees and where they would add (this helped manage our additional investment cost). We were impressed as well with their plant selections which had a nice balance of evergreens, perennials, and annuals to ensure our home would look good in every season. They also picked plants aligned with the new weather realities around the area - much colder snaps so although we are in zone 9b, they have been adjusting selections to be zone 8 tolerant. The deep expertise and caring for their client's priorities was very evident here! Next on scheduling and install, Hogue was amazing at communications and transitioning from Design into install. The designer briefed the project manager and walked through everything to ensure it was executed as planned. The designer carefully selected the best plant materials while the day-to-day project manager was on site each day to manage issues and/or just ensure we were updated on progress. Any small issue was addressed ASAP. We were extremely impressed that the completed the job ahead of schedule and very quickly with little/no disruption. Again, this was the opposite of our prior experience! Finally, as we completed the install and moved into maintenance, the communication again was key. Hogue ensured that the Designer and Project Manager walked through with the maintenance manager to give specifics on how things should be pruned/left to grow, etc. The care taken to ensure we got the outcome that we wanted was clear and we are so appreciative!
