Super friendly staff, fast, efficient and under my other quotes. Loved Anthony the owner and Yami the Ops leader. I knew what each next step was along the way because of the SW they use so always felt informed.
Extremely responsive, highly professional. We used AlleyCat during quarantine because rats moved into our basement. 5 years later, more rats came back and used an opening that was created by adding an irrigation pipe. Sam came quickly to inspect, & then James brought a 4 man army the same week. AlleyCat's quote for the job was not cheaper, but the work they committed to was far less thorough than Honest Rodent. Their philosophy of *thoroughly* sealing the perimeter is quite powerful. As James explained, closing holes within the house is an endless whack-a-mole. This is not the same method as Alley Cat, who didn't effectively seal the perimeter, and spent lots of time inside the house, moving the fridge, etc. If you need prompt, thorough, & courteous extermination, go with Honest Rodent Proofing
Don't hire this company! At first, everything when smoothly, but in the end, it was a bad experience. I hired Honest Rodent Proofing because I found droppings in my storeroom and a hole in the wall caused a rodent. A very bad smell was coming into my house, so I called for an estimate. I met with Anthony and his pricing seemed reasonable so I and hired him to do the work, which included plumbing, waste removal, sanitation and odor elimination. When the work was complete, after a few days, the bad smell was not gone, it seemed even worse. When I called to ask for someone to come out to check on the crawl space and perhaps do further sanitation, Anthony refused, became belligerent and started shouting, stating that he would not send someone out. He also said that my warranty was void because I declined to have a door replaced. The technician who did the work said the door was not necessary, and that I could add it at a later time, with no indication that not replacing the door would void the warranty. When I told Anthony this, he gaslit me and continued to become escalated in his tone. I've never had a business owner speak to me in such a rude, unprofessional manner. Rather and fix the work, he said, if you're not happy, I'll just give you a refund. Although I explained that's not what I was looking for, he said, with hostility, "I'll just give you your money back". It's been 3 weeks. He canceled the rodent trap checks and my warranty. He has not followed through on the refund. NOT VERY HONEST. Don't hire this company!
Josh’s team was wonderful to work with! They came on time, were extremely clear in what they were doing and stuck to the estimate. The crew left everything clean after a day of work and were clear on next steps regarding follow up visits. Highly recommend Josh and crew.
I highly recommend this company to anyone who has rodent problems. I discovered that my crawl space had a mess of issues that were caused by rodents, including damage to my plumbing and air ducts. Chris came out, crawled my house, and clearly explained every problem that needed to be addressed. Although it wasn’t a cheap project, the quote was still incredibly reasonable. I had never heard of a “rat slab,” but after Chris explained the benefits of pumping in concrete to create a solid barrier from tunneling rats, I was sold. When Josh and his team arrived, they were friendly, polite, and very professional in their work. Particularly, I really appreciated their attention to detail. If my wife and I had any questions or concerns, Josh had the answer. I was amazed at how much they accomplished each day, and Josh always kept me in the loop regarding the work progress. They finished the job in about 4 days, which was a bit longer than originally planned, but only because of some unrelated plumbing problems (prior owners doing shoddy work). Once the plumbing issues were resolved, the company scheduled me for the earliest time to finish the job. I am absolutely satisfied with the finished product. My house is as it should be and I’m very confident that the rodents won’t be back anytime soon!
