We decided the last minute to do a natural Christmas tree instead of a plastic. Hong was still open and they have trees at 75% off. Since I have driven by Hong landscape many times and always been curious, we jumped in the truck and ran up there just before they closed. It’s a beautiful place with nice people and they still had quite a few very nice Christmas trees. So glad we went and we will be going back.

I hesitated to post a review but I feel that there is some false advertising associated with their landscaping planning services. I called to schedule a consultation with their landscaper last February. They informed me that the feel for the consultation would be $70 but because we lived “so far” they’d have to charge us double. We live just three miles further than my in laws who they did not charge extra for but I happily agreed. They informed me that $70 could be applied as a credit towards “anything purchased from the plan” so I assumed if they put together a several hundred or even thousand dollar plan if we purchased some trees or flowers it would be worth it. Over a month went by without hearing any sort of follow up. When I finally called Nathan informed me that I would need to come in, in person to “see the presentation” and he was only available one day a week to do so. I understand he’s busy executing planting with clients and managing a team. I have three small children and I informed him it would be easier to walk through on the phone or even a zoom call if possible. I had to cancel twice for illness related reasons because of them. He said they only did in person. I asked about rescheduling on a day when I had a sitter and Nathan told me he’d call back to confirm and never did. At that point I was so frustrated I didn’t want to bother with trying to nail him down anymore as it was well into summer and part planting season for trees. I called last week asking about using the credit towards purchasing a tree since the consultation never worked out. The girl who answered was extremely rude and told me that the only way I could redeem the credit was by purchasing “50% or more of the proposal”. A single oak tree from Hongs is $500 so you’re saying I’d have to agree to executing half the plan (we asked for an extensive plan which I can only assume would have totaled well into the multi thousand dollar range) to even get the consult fee back? I understand that their landscaper spent time developing the plan, but then why not be more flexible on how you work with customers on presenting it? I asked to speak to a manager so we could figure out a solution and she said she’d have one call me right back. A week later and I’ve still never heard from anyone. We’ve been long time customers of Hongs but this really upset me.

Love the relaxing/ beautiful layout! Plants of various types and colors to meet your green thumb needs. Thier prices are amazing. Some cheaper but much better quality for your buck. They even have a beautiful stunning Koi pond, they even gave my kids free Kio food to feed the fish.

The place was clean and spacious, with a variety of plants. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and I’d love to visit again.

Dail and crew were fantastic in the design and implementation of our new home landscape. Some plants didn't make it through the winter. Dail and crews came out and replaced the few plants that didn't make it. Hong's was the only landscape company that listened to my wife's picky plant selection and design ideas. Fantastic company and crews.
