Terrible service and communication. Had an in-person appointment and uploaded all my documents. Followed up three times via email, called twice (left messages) and never received a call back. Missed my filing deadline because of them. Truly unreliable.

I’ve been a loyal H&R Block client for over a decade, and my previous experiences had always been positive. Unfortunately, this year has been a complete disappointment. The agent assisting me, LaMonica, no-showed our first appointment, then arrived 45 minutes late to the second. Their attitude was incredibly rude, unhelpful, and hostile. Despite this, I scheduled a third attempt, with a different agent named Margo, only to face more issues—another late call, excessive excuses about being unable to open standard Word and Excel files, and continued rudeness. If basic document access is a problem, operational tools need serious reevaluation. To make matters worse, I contacted support, and a District Manager was supposed to follow up—which never happened. After this awful experience, I will never file with H&R Block again. Losing a 10+ year returning client due to poor service speaks volumes.

Absolutely horrible!! LaMonica refiled our taxes wrong. When I sent her the letter from the IRS she never responded. I’m still dealing with this mess. I would NOT recommend.

I showed up as a walk in..while they were busy and needed to come back for appt. But when I did the preparer was super friendly, knowledgeable, & got me outta there quickly. She even helped me set up the APP & prepaid card they provide within minutes... Will definitely consider them next year.
